  1. Linesman, fair dinkum. Milner gets it down the left and his feet are on the line but the ball Holy shit!!! N'Zogbia with a scorcher! 1-0
  2. Im in Australia, we have all the games on here. Viduka should of gotten a free kick just before.
  3. 7 red shirts in the box to stop one of our attacks...
  4. Great ball by Viduka and he sets Martins off as he is running down the right flank, his shot goes wide. But good sign, should of hit the target though.
  5. Looks pretty funny actually, all these suits then a Newcastle kit with some fat bloke there... haha Good work Big Mike!
  6. Torres should of had at least 2 goals and Voronin should of had 2 as well. Gordon did well to keep them in the game especially taking some full on shots on his chest, crazy man. Could be the difference between them staying up or going down. Mackems had nothing else to be excited about up the field, tbh. 2 shots on target for the whole game...
  7. Absolutely just journalists making up stories. The quality of reporting in this country (can't comment on many others) is disgraceful imho. Yeah, England seem to take the cake in terms of journalism or lack of. We are slowly catching up but ours is nowhere near English papers in terms of absolute crap they sprout!

    Viduka

That ball to Milner (not sure) who then cut it back to Smith who scuffed his shot was delightful.
  9. City, who havent looked like scoring all day, have just opened the scoring at CoMS. Geovanni with a slight deflection off Vidic's calf to make it 1-0. Man U doing all the attacking with this Nani bloke looking alright.
  10. I cant decide who i want to be as Captain. I feel it should be Shay but i would prefer an outfield player to have it. The only other option i could think of is Nobby but im not sure if he will be playing every game this year as he is pressing on in terms of age. So i think it would be best if one of the new signings took it as i cant see any other real captain options out there. Having said that i still think a rotation of the armband wouldnt be a bad idea either...
  11. Top bloke and almost as good as David Boon but not quite. I hope he can prove his doubters wrong.
  12. oh fuck is given injured again? must be 0-0 at HT The guys on NO said just a tight groin and taking no chances so off he comes.
  13. Good backup, got to build a team after all...
  14. Wasnt he captain for the previous 5 seasons?
  15. Explains the shit opposition too. Nearly as good as our defence
  16. He is living and was brought up in Queensland so we will claim him now! Socceroos beckon for the kid.
  17. Luque has picked up a knock and is replaced by Andy Carroll. Hopefully as a precaution rather then a serious injury.

  19. I am so bored that im tempted to watch this....
  20. Im assuming they are similar to normal heart rate monitors which just fit around your body with a remote device recording the heart rate. Or they will be the over the shoulder numbers and be placed at the back and not only record heart rate but also running intensity, running speeds, how much time they walk, run, sprint, distance, position, altitude and how much space is covered on the pitch etc. These are from the GPS devices they use here in the AFL/WAFL and are handy devices to have. Can explain so much and then we can cater for their needs in terms of what system needs to be trained etc etc. So im assuming this is the type of the device they are using. I will try and find a picture of what they look like, but the ones we use here strap on over the back of the shoulders with the plate of the GPS tracking device being held along the vertebrae in a pouch. Im assuming they would be using these during friendlies as well as it is a handy device for the players and staff. Im a qualified Sports Scientist, i should head over....
  21. Loved him despite his inadequacies. Scored some cracking goals in his time here and set up just as many. One of the players that helped propel us up the table. "That goal could send Newcastle to the top of the table...."
