Oliver and Roeder using Bernard's hip injury as a welcome excuse to gloss over the fact that we signed an unfit player who wasn't deemed fit to play after more than two months of intensive training? Surely not.
-
Any news on Moore's injury? It sounded like he was going to be out for a while. Ramage, Taylor and Bramble are our only fit defenders now, if anything happens to one of them, we're down to two defenders. Beyond a joke really. http://www.physioroom.com/news/english_pre...njury_table.php Top of the injury table as well, now there's a surprise.

Tecato, that has got to be the best signature ever.

Spurs' form has been the only positive thing this season. I hope they keep it up.

It beats dying in a plane crash, surely? Seriously though, very good article.

Going by what I've seen of him so far and in the full knowledge that I'm not really in the best position to comment on individual players' performances, I just don't rate Milner at all. Yes, he works hard and runs around a lot, but there is simply not enough end product from him. He can't cross and he hasn't exactly got the pace either. I don't think he'll ever be more than a decent player for a mid-table team - which, to be fair, would be more than good enough for us at the moment... I'd still play other players ahead of him on the right.

I don't really like him either, but I like his music. Contradiction?

I've only listened to it a couple of times, but I'd been looking forward to it for a while. First impressions are very good.

My thoughts exactly Renty. And mine. We're fucked if we don't turn it around sharpish, as I can't see Shepherd sacking Roeder anytime soon.

Interesting snip at the end of the match report
Bombadil replied to LeazesMag's topic in Newcastle Forum
Leazes using an article from the Guardian to back up his arguments - he must be more desperate than we thought! Whatever nect? Seriously though Leazes, I don't know what you're getting at - I think the general consensus is that Shepherd and Douggie Hall are to blame for the mess we're in. At least Shepherd is involved in the day-to-day operations - Douggie is just a leech. But that doesn't mean Shepherd has done well as chairman. In fact, he's done unbelievably badly. The situation we're finding ourselves in at the moment is testament to that. -

"Groin" i.e. lack of motivation and professionalism.

And again... Thanks for the first laugh of my week.

Ameobi and Sibierski up front again at Arsenal? To be honest, he probably deserved more than being left out altogether after scoring our only goal in Palermo.

Very good

I have a feeling we'll get hammered next weekend.

If he does that, it will be completely indefensible. Scientific, medical and common-sense FACT.

In a way, that quote says it all. All he's interested in is personal glory and his bank account. He probably wouldn't be too bothered if we were relegated, as long as we won the League Cup and he could present himself as some sort of Geordie saviour who finally ended the club's trophy drought. He should be focused on putting the club on solid, long-term foundations on and off the pitch instead. But hey, that would require 'planning'. The positive thing is that winning a cup will be even better if it means the fat thief fucks off for good.

Well, that was fucking shit. Roeder wants shooting for starting Shola - he made Shearer in his last season look like Carl Lewis. I hope Carr is out for the season and as for Babayaro, what a surprise to see him miss out again, what a cock. Couldn't be arsed to earn his wages - again. Hopefully Dyer will stay fit for the rest of the season (yeah, right) and honestly, even Luque couldn't have been worse than Shola and Sibierski up front.
-
Hilarious. "We might just as well cripple him completely if he's going to have the operation." And what are the odds on Dyer not playing for another couple of weeks, despite Roeder saying he is fit?

Most people looked at him with terror and fear But to Moscow chicks he was such a lovely dear!
