i know thats why i was pulling your leg!
how about James Perch instead?

I think alot of people forget that he wasn't really happy with having Kinnear in charge. Not to mention him getting his name wrong aswell. He kept Wigan up, more so in the last 4 or 5 games aswell.
I think since hes been away he has matured as a player to be honest, he just need to change his whinging side and he'll be a decent level headed player.
N'Zogbia, Cabaye, Tiote, Barton, Ben Arfa and Nolan, quite a decent selection of midfielders to choose from if you ask me.
LuaLua, Jonas, Guthrie, Gosling and Ireland* on the edges of that, too
*I know he's returned to Villa, but I could see us picking him up
Still would prefer Gervinho or Menez to N'zogbia.
*Dont want Ireland here tbh.
Even without Irleand we would still have a very strong group to pick from in midfield.
Then Gameiro and another striker.
I'd say another RB too but Simpson signing another deal sounds like AP doesnt see it as an area for concern.
steven taylor can cover at right back if simmo gets injured!
gutierrez can play right back according to Maradonnerkebab

yeah basically....ben arfa will be number 10 next season.
we need a proper striker badly in my eyes.

he is more effective as a striker than shola can be!

Kevin Nolan has ruled out leaving Newcastle and says he intends to be captain of the club for many years to come.
Nolan still has two years to run on his current deal at St James' Park but there have been suggestions he could move on unless an extension can be agreed in the near future.
The midfielder has been linked with a return to his former club Bolton but Nolan has dismissed such rumours saying he has never been happier and is settled in the north-east.
"My wife has been here for 18 months now and my kids - my little boy is a Geordie, he was born up here, so we have settled into life up here really well and hopefully I have a good few more years left here," he revealed.
"It's unbelievable. When I think back now, I never thought two years ago that I would be where I am now, and that's the most satisfying thing.
"I have been able to get where I want just through hard work and dedication, and hopefully in the next couple of years, you are going to see the best of me again, and more of it.
"But to be captain of this club, it really feels a great honour. It's fantastic and I am absolutely delighted."

According to reports Bolton Wanderers have been alerted to Kevin Nolan’s contract impasse at Newcastle United.
It is understood that the midfielder is currently considering his options which may mean him moving on from St James’ Park.
The Daily Mail claims Magpies boss Alan Pardew is facing a battle to keep hold of his captain as it emerges he is a long way from concluding a new deal.
This follows Joey Barton's agent saying he will see out the final year of his contract.
Nolan has been linked with a return to Wanderers

News today that could even be true – that Newcastle are ready to sign Darren Pratley from Swansea City.

Mike Ashley has a few fake accounts

Jose Enrique – will be leaving Newcastle
Alan Pardew will not even bother trying to keep Enrique, if his mind is on other clubs, which it seems to be with Alan’s statement recently:
“There’s no point keeping a player who has set his sights on a club he has perceived is bigger,” Pardew said. “You can’t keep a player that’s unmotivated.”
While there were claims that Liverpool would bid £15M for a player whose contract runs out in a short 12 months, there is news that Liverpool have bid a low £4M for the player, and Newcastle quite rightly have rejected it.
The Daily Mirror is reporting today that Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish is a big fan of the 25-year-old and no doubt will come back with an improved offer.
We would hope that when Enrique finally leaves, the fee will be much closer to £10M, and we hope there’s a bidding war for him to push up the price.
But of course if Newcastle turn down all the offers, they could lose the Spaniard for nothing next summer.
And it’s only right that Newcastle will not try to keep a player who wants to leave the club- if they don’t want to play for Newcastle United, fine – they should move on.
But talk of getting £15M for Jose, seems a bit far fetched for a player who is a free agent in 12 months time, but hey - if a club bids that much – great – we’ll take it.
It’s just a pity that Jose kept saying he would wait until the end of he season before discussing a new contract, or was it when Newcastle were safe?
That’s because it now looks like he knew all along that he was going to leave.
Just think Newcastle could be willing to sell Carroll, Enrique and Barton in a few short months.

I've been friends with Barton for a couple of years now and I held a big event last week with him and Nolan for the NSPCC...
Danny Simpson with a tiny bit of help from me have got him onto twitter so follow him @joey7barton.
I can't quote him as he will get into bother...this is what he said to me in a conversation though...
I don't want to leave. I love it here and the fans know that.
I will be here next season, no way am i being sold. Once my contracts up my hands are tied but hopefully someone buys the club by then.
I love this club and want success. We should buy the club like they did at Barcelona.
I am starting a twitter account this week so every fan will know the truth.
I love the fans of this club and want to bring a trophy here.
