    Last summer, after we'd just being promoted? You would have been any happier then? If he was replaced by Pardew back then I wouldn't have been happy but that's a completely different issue. You're asking about the timing. If you don't rate a manager it's obviously better to give a new bloke the chance to bring in his own players, coaching staff, etc. and have pre-season training with the squad than it is to wait for a manager to have a bad spell so you can have an excuse to get rid of him. The latter is obviously the coward's choice, which should come as no surprise I suppose. Can't believe something this elementary needs pointing out tbh. Just being back on the forum for this week and reading his posts, I can.

    With all thats going on just now I couldnt be arsed working for Ashley so started a new game. Took over at St Mirren with the aim of playing one of my one nationality teams. So its an all Scots challenge in the SPL. Bizarrely I manged to finish 4th in my first season with Euro qualification Leigh Griffiths the Scottish FM Legend had a storming season, I just hope I can hold off any bids for him

    The players will not play for this bellend. This fat fuck must be wanting us to do a West Brom and become a yo yo team whilst he claws back as much as he can. If we go down this time though we won't have Jose, Jonas, Nolan, Colo, Barton etc hanging around and have a real danger of continuing to drop...

    Hughton had been with us for over 2 and a half years now. Yes there may have been some question marks over his experience as a manager (even by some supporters) but he had the experience of knowing the club and the players. Look at what has happened when we have went down the revolving door routine of bring managers in, even Shearer was poor. For the first time in years under Hughton and the experience he had of being involved with Newcastles first team for a 2 and a half year spell was IMO the most stability the club has had for years. Looks like a long hard second half to the season under whichever Puppet Ashley puts in place. To work under these clowns it has to be someone just looking for an easy pay day and not for their ambition.

    Finally got round to having a proper go at this years game haveing been away and too busy to get a chance. First season and on the last day of the season I manage to leapfrog Man City after beating them 2-0 thanks to big AC. Mancini immediately got the sack following the game. My success was mainly down to my poor mans Shearer and Bellamy in Andy Carroll and the *coughs* goal machine Kenny Miller. Not bad for what was meant to be a 1.5 million back up striker...
