Any website design professionals out there?

Basically any links from other sites to your site, clicked or not, will help you (apart from nofollow links which you find on most forum sigs or blog posts). If google can follow the link to your site it sees that as your site being a useful resource for whatever the anchor text of the link is. Hence it is best to have good anchor text when placing links rather than just your website address.

I like fat arses = anchor text

 

Basically it's the text that the link shows up as
