What were we saying about Marveaux going missing for long periods of the game? Apart from a decent corner, I forgot he was playing.
-
We have been gash since Debuchy departed
-
Marveaux showing Cabaye how to take a good corner there
-
look at him! hahahah, he speaks
Good on the lad, that is pretty impressive to speak to the media in a language he couldn't speak a year ago.
-
And Shanes loan spell will be finished.
Seriously, you have to be on a wind up?

Bournemouth to Faro £80, £48 for the train, go weds back fri
I live in Bournemouth....very tempting!
-
If we can get past Anji, we can get past Benfica. No tie at this stage is easy and a full strength Newcastle are a test for any team as they will be for us. I don't believe we will get humiliated and I'm going to join Team Positive and say we can win this competition.
-
When's the first leg? Need to get booked up!
April 4th
-
Can't say i know much about Benfica and their team right now so no idea if thats a good draw or not. Glad we are away first off though as I always feel playing at home on the return leg is an advantage.
-
avoided the English clubs then
-
Didn't go missing last night. Would have been motm but for Taylor.
Team should be geared towards giving him the ball at every opportunity.
I don't think kicking the ball towards the bench would be very creative for us.
-
Despite being gash against Stoke, he still scored the winner. A striker's paradox - if they do nothing all game and score, is it worse than playing well and not scoring?
I'd take that all day long! As I say, if he finds the net, I can forgive poor performances within that. He does have the uncanny ability to score when it doesn't look likely.
-
Looking at the last few games he has come on the last few months. Very important goals.
Apart from his goal against Stoke, didn't he have an absolute shocker? But as long as he starts finding the net as he has done recently, I can put up with the odd poor performance from him.
-
So when you have a fully fit midfield and attack of Cabaye, Tiote, Sissoko, Guffroun, Ben Arfa and Cisse, just where does Marveaux fit in other then a useful sub? And even when Ben Arfa is out, Jonas seems to be preferred. Agreed he has the ability to change a game and has done so on our last two occasions, but he goes missing for long periods. I can't see him breaking into first team action in the PL unless we get a a list of injuries or suspensions.
-
Anyone that can pick up a language so quickly impresses me. I've been with my French girlfriend for over 8 years and I still can't speak French. I can kiss French but thats it! Has Cisse been interviewed then speaking English?
-
I think he is much improved since his return from the ACN. Had a pretty drab first half of the season but now back to being a workhorse for us. He will always have disciplinary problems though.
-
So casually taken, brilliant goal. With Cisse's reputation, I immediately suspected him to be offside but great play all round and a deserved win. Shame we had to needlessly give away that pen otherwise a 2 goal win would have taken us to 11th.
-
Yes, very clever of him to break his back intentionally
Oh, he broke his back did he? Well in that case, I'm out of order.
-
he's in argentina and out till may.. so no
How convenient for him....
-
Mbiwa will end up better than Colo I reckon. Class tonight
Yep, I said that when he signed. Class act. My Arsenal buddy was gutted he signed for us as he has been raving about him for the last year.
-
Perch gets far too much stick on here for me. He's nowhere near as bad as he's made out to be, people are still judging him on those horrific performances he put in when we first signed him at right-back.
I was just about to say the same. Before Pardew came in, he was bordering on useless, but Pardew has made a difference to his game and he rarely puts a foot wrong. Its not often either any of his passes go astray. Not a flash player but reliable and dependable.
-
Jeez, what good is he for Obertan, cant dribble, cant cross, cant pass, cant catch a pass, cant defend, cant score, physically weak as fuck, dumb as fuck, never uses his pace...there's nothing worthwhile with him
I don't know, I thought he was fucking awesome in Mars Attacks
-
Marveaux just passing it into no mans land. Not even aware of his surroundings. Quality! Apart from him and Obertan, they are playing ok and seem comfortable on the artificial pitch.
-
Fucking Obertan man. Brings down a beautiful pass to him and gets in a great position and literally taps it to the opposition! Absolute turd.

Has anyone told our players we are wearing yellow?
