Yeah Paddy Mccourts fitness has hindered his appearances. He however is a crap player and is seen by Celtic fans as a cult hero as he is basically a fan living the dream and can't cut it in the spl. I have to laugh at your turning your nose up at Honduras, they are one of the better teams in CONCACAF. They have players such as Wilson Palacios, Figueroa of Wigan, izzaguire of us, David Suaso and Georgie Welcome. -

Celtic do have talented players but mulgrew who is class by the way the way his career has changed fantastically. He has been called up the past 3 games and played the past 2 games for Scotland. He was played by the u21 squad too early in his career when at Aberdeen. Celtic have national players in their team, just as much as Newcastle do for example: Luckasz Zaluska (Celtic sub goalie)- Poland Matthews- Wales Ledley-Wales Samaras-Greece Stokes-Republic of Ireland (Pre trappantoni dispute) Cha du ri- South Korea Ki Sung Yueng- south Korea Biram Kayal- Israel Thomas rogne-Norway Morten Rasmussen-denmark James Forrest- Scotland Scott brown- Scotland Kris Commons- Scotland Emilio Izagyirre- Honduras Victor wanyama- Kenya Mikael lustig- Sweden Dan Majstorovic- Sweden Darren o'dea- republic of Ireland Paddy McCourt-northern Ireland Niall McGinn-northern Ireland -

Yous are so up your own arses it's unbelievable, the whole name 4 Celtic/rangers players arguments could also apply here towards Newcastle in Sunderland. Celtic are a big support who do capture supported from out their own city who are as big as fans as we glaswegian fans. Irsoh fans make up a third of our support as we are seen as a Scottish team with Irish heritage. About the EPL up here, it's the same. You only get 2 pages if your lucky of epl news in our newspapers. -

There were certain factors about the Rennes game being: 1. Kick off 6pm (people working) 2.thursday night 3. On tv 4. Irish fans can't travel. -

Nobody in Scotland really notices it nor mentions it. Even the smaller teams don't mention it as football up here is a 'passed down from your dad' support. -

I am a top lad About the attendances. Celtic never had a stadium capable of that amount till about 1998 when we has our new 60,000 stadium built and yes this season we have had about 52-55,000 to nearly every game and a full house for rangers games. When I meant top four fans I actually meant top four fans in England not the top four teams. I'm not a glory hunter, I've supported Celtic since birth and the only in my family to do so as the rest support rangers and have also done since birth, in Scotland most fans follow the team their dads follow and not by choice. I'm sure Newcastle would glorify in their clubs history if they had won the European cup but we "GLORIFY" in it. In fact today is the anniversary of the day we won it. We glorify it as much as you english do about '66. -

The norwich game only had 2 regular starters in Hooper and Forster with a few benchers at 16 year olds. -

I don't think so mate, rangers in January signed a player called Celik. Hahaha I never seen the Norwich friendly so can't comment as I had a family emergency. But I'll watch it later. I heard both fans really hit it off though. -

Wow,wow, wow steady lads to much to reply to at once As much as it pains me to say it Forster isn't the best goalie in the league McGregor is and would easily fit into a mid table epl team, a sunderland etc About our qualification to the champions league, yes 2 games till group stages but we are in the champions route and we play teams from eastern Europe such as Kaunus and even lindfield from northern Ireland, i think we'd easily dispose of them. We don't need the money for hooper, we have money and we are willing to spend it. We'd rather keep the best spl striker and build for Europe. And to be honest I don't think we'd let him go for anything under 6.5 million honestly that's how highly he's rated. I do think hooper could do a job for Newcastle, look at jelavic and he wasn't even the 2nd best striker up here. -

Paddock I know it's only a friendly hahaha, it was just for you to get a look at hooper and Forster and get a rough idea of how they are doing. I don't see us selling hooper for a few years Brock mate, we are financially stable with virtually zero debt so we don't have to sell so I don't see the Forster and cash deal working as Hooper is regarded higher in Celtic than Forster. -

Well we play Norwich today in the Adam Dufy friendly, you can get an insight into both hooper and Forster as I'm sure they'll feature but it will be full of our youth players. -

Definitely not mother kris Boyd hahaha, he only scored one old firm goal as well, hahaha, Boyd is a poacher and so is hooper to an extent but hooper has more to his game, he and his strike partner stokes have great assists for each other. Nice one two touches etc. hooper is fast and uses his pace very well, he also has good strength and uses it to block off other defenders for our team to score. Hopper is a clinical finisher though and sweet too 8 times out of ten he would score one on ones and I'm confident when he is through on goal. Scored 5 against hearts in the last day of the season which is not been done here since 1973 when Dixie deans done it. Hooper also likes tracking back into midfield and helping out there but he is only just recently been doing this. Hooper is also a more team player than jelavic is to compare the two. -

Come on! He's good Fraser Forster but not that good, you really think he will get called up before joe hart and co ? Hahaha. About holland and krul, the place is steckelenbourgs no doubt about it. Most of our other players get international call ups thought but it is in places such as south Korea, honduras, African countries, 2 seasons ago we had Germany's first choice right back in Andreas Hinkel and Hollands first choice left back who played in that world cup final in Edison braafheid, so it is rated by some. Right now we have 2 of swedens back four playing for us.
