Club won't be sold till we're back in the PL.
This is my view too. MA, by his own admission is a gambling man and given our more than decent start to the season; he must fancy our chances of getting back up. From there he'll look to sell quick, but get back more of what he lost. However, he wont spend a fucking bean in Jan and try to get back up on the cheap.
Unfortunately, we wont as we'll succumb to the inevitable Gallowgate Curse and we'll be playing the Tea Lady on the left wing (mind you, my ITK tells me that whilst she's not a quick as Jonas, she knows how to cross a ball).
On the chances my cynicism is misplaced and my lack of faith is shown up - we'll get promoted and Ashley will double the price of the club, whilst selling Jonas, Guthrie, Nolan and Saylor. No one will pay that kind of money given the level of investment required and we'll get relegated with the lowest points tally in history of the world.Ever.
The only way MA will sell the club this side of May 2010 is if the SFO step up their investigation and he needs the liquid assets to strike a deal to avoid jail.
There, I've said it and now the world knows. My optimism is counter-balanced by an over-active negative imagination which surfaces from time to time.
Or maybe it's just 'cos I've only had 3hrs sleep

A bit of a blast from the past, but it's canny to code to actually:
The Charlatans - Melting Pot
I think I might follow it with The Cult (Best Of)
-
You can add me in for number 2 as well.
Nice one mate

There must be something in the water lads- Mrs.Fist told me this morning that chimp #2 is on the way
Nice one MF, congrats
Given the recent increase in TT babies, I propose all members practice 'safe foruming'. Protection is simple, we ask all members to put a condom on each finger before engaging in textual intercourse with another member. Pregnancy is spreading and very contagious. Side effects of babies can (and will) include loss of sleep, frequent outbreaks of puke, piss and in some cases: poo on your skin; a lightness in your wallet and the repeated loss of half of Christmas Day/Birthday trying to free presents from their near-permanent incarceration in their boxes thanks to "THE CABLE TIES OF DEATH".
This is a public health message brought to you by the Office of Toontastic, Admin Department.

The new Monkey Island game for the Wii. It's a 5 episode game you buy through WiiWare @ 1000pts per episode.
Got ep1 on Sun for Mrs Paws and I. Seems canny so far although I think it's a little glitchy.

Genuine question ( in case I've missed something).
Do we know for certain Moat has no money? Or have we come the this decision because a) Moat has refused to pay Ashley's ridiculous asking price and b)Moat hasn't gone round saying "I have £200m to buy the club and provide for transfers !!!LOLZ!"
After all, doing the 2nd would be really stupid and put him in a weaker position for negotiations.

Cheers for that Ant. That's how I understood it, but reading the Iphone Dev site confused me because it mentions 3.1, jailbreaking, 3gs and the fact you can jailbreak but not unlock.
Unfortunately I let itunes upgrade my new iphones without knowing you can't jailbreak 3.1, or that they will be permanently locked now.
-
Dumb question (or it feels like one). I can't seem to get my head around jailbreaking because of the confusion around OS3.1. I dont care about unlocking because it's going to remain on O2. I understand I wont be able to unlock it in the future because I'm on 3.1 and unlocking has been disabled.
However, I'm running 3.1 and I only have windows PC's. Can I jailbreak yet and if so, wtf do I need to download/do? The iphone_dev site has confused the f**k out of me.
PWNAGE, RedSn0w, yellowSn0w wtf?

Anyone know of any decent car mounts?
I recently bought two of these and they have been great so far. You can mount your iphone landscape or portrait which is good for SatNav etc. Came with a car charger too.
I ordered them on the Fri am and they arrived Sat am
That's canny that man. Thanks very much. Should be ok as well so my iTrip with the charger can go onto it too.
Yeah, that's what I planned on doing before my radio stopped picking up stations recently
-
It looks like Adobe Flash is going to be available on most smartphones by 2010, apart from the iphone.
Not according to Adobe - Adobe open iPhone to Flash Devs

Its not illegal to post a radio link is it?
It is. Same for tv links. If it's not on freely available radio that is.

No sympathy for Pompy i'm afraid. I thought this rag head who took over was meant to be loaded ?
If that were me.......
You'd get the same treatment from me as 2Bias is now getting.
2Bias - check your PM's

Just finished reading the verdict - all I can say is that it proves EVERYTHING we have said about the scum running the club.
Overall it's the best of both worlds - Keegan vindicated and the scum exposed but with a damage limiting amount of compen.
Take that you fat cockney cunt.
Yep, I totally agree. KK might feel a little short-changed and if I was him I think I might too. However, in the grand scheme of things, it's definitely better for the club that it was limited to £2m.
-
On a positive note, this should mean the sale should go through straight away now.
By the end of the week ?

yeah, he won the constructive dismissal case, as he had a clause saying if he was sacked he'd only get 2m - that's what he was awarded.
He was suing for 25m....
Sad f**k will probably have spent more in legal fees.
No he wasn't that a lie derived from Llambias, thinking idiots would believe it............
Indeed. He was suing for £10m wasn't he because that was the value of his contract? Something he was perfectly entitled to do.

Great news mate.

Don't know about being "the best" but I've hugely enjoyed this lot's music.......
Angus Young
Bob Mould
Johnny Marr
John Squire One of my influences tbh. Sadly someone who's never really played to his full potential. When he wants to, he can play.
Mick Jones
Richard Thompson
Jimi Hendrix
Adrian Smith
Gary Moore
Rory Gallagher Someone who's easily forgotten unfortunately. Really very good though. My Dad has some of his stuff on vinyl (he saw him loads of times and even met him). He could make a solo out of pick harmonics sound good
Accomplished sax player too.
Bernard Sumner
Kurt Cobain
J Mascis
Paul Weller (The Jam only!
)
Noel Gallagher
Ray Davies
George Harrison I never really appreciated him until I got older. If i had to pick a favorite Beatle, it'd be him. [sad fact]Here comes the sun would probably make it onto my Desert Island Discs (even though he's written loads better, including Taxman - and that would nearly make it on)[/sad fact]
Prince Whn he stops acting like a dick, he can really play. Live versions of Purple Rain are usually something good. Watch a video of him doing whilst My Guitar Gently Weeps (with a bunch of other 'serious' musicians) and he played everyone else off the stage.
to be honest theres dozens....
Aye, you're not wrong

A new turbo for my 320d and some additional repair/maintenance work which was required as a result of said turbo going out in a spectacular plume of blue/white smoke on the A616.
£1200 later and the car is back on the road. Still need to find the money to decorate & furnish Matthews (Master Paws) new bedroom.
Not happy

I've got this down as a win too. We're looking good at home. I think we'll start with Carroll and Ranger up front again with Harewood coming on in the 2nd half.
With Colo being out injured, our CB pairing might lead to a few mistakes and I think there's more chance of us condeeding in this game. I'll say 2:1
-
Fuck me sideways, this has got to be the best acoustic guitar piece I've ever heard
Aye, that about says it like. I think I might have to look into this bloke a bit further.

Never had a problem with O2 and had nothing but issues with Orange. Great as a new customer, but awful from then on in.
Totally agree. My work's phone is from Orange and I've had nowt but problems with them over a 6 year period.
I've been with O2 now on a personal phone for 5 years. Not an ounce of problems. Also I'm on a £30/month tarrif which gives 400 anytime mins, 1000 texts and unlimited O2 to O2 calls.
Given that my lass (who is the only person I really call) is also on O2 - it's a no-brainer for me...
Similar situation for me too. I sorted mine and Lisa's through a business contract for £50/mth (combined) plus VAT. Unlimited calls to each other. Free O2 to O2 calls and my folks, brother, his fiance, lisa's folks are all on O2. Plus the 10 free landlines means I have other people covered too. On top of that I have 700mins and 450 txts (shared to be fair) for anything outside the above.
They seem nice to deal with too.
I'm now getting tempted by their broadband, which by all accounts is pretty good. I'm currently with Be Internet (who are now owned by O2) but as an O2 customer, you get their broadband fro 1/2 price. Less than £10/mth for unlimited, up to 20mb access.

I thought Carroll's ball to Nolan for his 2nd was lovely. Played it exactly where he needed to.
For his 3rd I'm going to give the benefit of the doubt to Ranger becase I think he was heading it down for Nolan. Looking at the replay, I dont think he could have scored it from where he was and the height it was. His best option was exactly what he did.
That (younger) commentator is also a prick. Got on my tits for most of the match tbh.
