Absolutely Always clear that Smith had no class, but this just compounds it. Moron. This test match has been an unpleasant one, with Warner trying to get hold of the SA wicketkeeper when he said something unpleasant about his wife, and Rabada being banned (and the reprieved) for bumping Smith, but this just takes the biscuit. Equally clear that the Aussies are happy to hand it out and play the high moral ground, but can't take it. Lehman complaining about the crowds getting stuck into his players, but: "I hope the Australian public give it to him right from the word go for the whole [Australian] summer," he said. "And I hope he cries and goes home. I don't advocate walking, but when you hit it to first slip it's pretty hard." http://www.bbc.com/sport/cricket/23778598

Scarily, for many of them, I doubt that very much.

Probably because we needed a decent one -
Alan Pardew - Poltroon sacked by a forrin team

He is absolutely trying to get paid off now, so he is not the manager who took them down. Doesn't want that on his CV. He'll be back at some other club next year, on the basis that he is English. If he had any sense, he would take the Sky money and tell everyone else how to manage.- 10605 replies

Unfortunately, when he did come into the team and score, he got a three match ban for being stupid. That was probably his chance to show Rafa, and he blew it.

Thank God he was such a good manager that his opinion on how to set up a team is worth listening to

I knew that would be brought up, and fair play to him, but it was only an assist because their keeper failed to stop something which he would do 99 times out of 100. And I accept he runs about a lot. However, he is too easily pushed off the ball, fails to pass when he should, and misses sitters. Apart from that, he is not the worst player I have ever seen play for Newcastle, but as I am so old, that is not much of a compliment.

Might even be fit on that basis

They should be because that is what they are.

Apparently, the age of consent can still be 14 in the Vatican, as long as the girl is married and sex is with her husband! https://www.ageofconsent.net/world/vatican-city

And Ball was awful. Hopefully, this will be the last time we see him playing for England.

Frankly, it is just a failure to pay the odds, not over the odds -
Just being courteous on Friday, cos of Oz Day, giving up 5 wickets to make it more interesting. Oz still nearly blew it then, and did yesterday, when we played our third team bowlers.

He didn't build any roads or aqueducts

Maybe we got a good result against Swansea after all
-
I understand he has been rubbish in the BBL this year

What about Hales at 3 (he was an opener and only lost his place due to refusing to tour Bangladesh) and leave Malan at 5? Not sure it is worth having Buttler and Bairstow in the test team. If he comes back, Stokes should be at 6, Bairstow at 7, Moeen at 8, with Broad, Anderson and another making up the numbers.
