  1. Thank you Fish and Chez. I wish I could write something nice today. Life is a rollercoaster alreet, was like the Corkscrew at Whitley Bay for so long, radge from angles but comfortable and nice, it's more like a richter 9.0 earthquake effecting a nuclear power station (like what happened in Japan) just now.

Anyway enough whinging for one year. Happy Birthday to Chezette and young Fistah, Fistah only 12 years away from a pint, or 8 if he was owt like I was.

  2. My life has been a nightmare since the 2014 World Cup. Get what is described officially as incurable cancer, lose me fatha, move to a place where there's a mackem either side of the house, and now what was my future sister in law has passed away, same age as me :(

Life is fucking so cruel. So, so cruel.

  3. My thoughts are that we will piss it. We will probably start the season with a better squad than we did the last time and to say we absolutely pissed it is an understatement. No club with our support and finance has been outside the top flight since Man Utd in 1973. If we come second I'd find it embarrassing.

As for the rest of the division, they come to St James' completely awe struck which was evident last time when in 23 home games we lost NONE. The only clubs I've got any feeling for are: Villa, Leeds and Nottingham Forest. I deeply deeply hate Villa. Awful area, ugly fans who make bedsheets about us, boring cunts I'd love to see in the third tier as they were once before. Leeds, most overrated support in Europe. Immediate catchment area of 1m yet half their gates are below 20,000. Nottingham Forest because of the miners strike, and they feel that they're in the same bracket as Real Madrid, Ajax and Liverpool for having 2 European Cups, one of the beating mighty MALMO in the final.

Table will end up like this

1 Newcastle - more than the 102 points we got last time.

    2 Norwich

    3 Derby

    4 Brighton

    5 QPR

    6 Sheff Wed

    12 Aston Villa

    18 Leeds

The rest who the fuck cares

  4. The fact I haven't really been allowed to train over the last 2 years, massively put the weight on me. At one point I was 18 and a half stone. Got weighed yesterday, and I'm going down thank fuck. 17st7lbs, I need to be my perfect weight by the end of the year, so 3st to go. Live in the gym normally works for fat cunts like me. The scary thing is on the BMI even now I'm 31. Over 30 is classed as a fat cunt, despite me being 6ft2.

  5. I've suffered from it when people have passed away around me and when I found out about my cancer and it is a cunt. Sometimes I'll wake up about 4am, think about nothing in particular other than "howay lets get to sleep", and I just can't because I'm trying too hard. My kip in the last 24 hours, the sun totally knocked me out yesterday, 3pm till 7pm, 11pm till 330am, 430am till 7. It works out as 11 hours which is probably nee good, but it's murder being awake can't sleep and having wor lass whinge on because my fart has woken her up.

  6. I think anything can happen with England this time. There's no point getting excited about deservedly beating Germany in Berlin, we did exactly the same thing in the build up to South Africa 2010 and we all know what happened. If we get to the QF that'll do me this time, just some improvement.

As I said earlier these will win it.

They just will. I'm quite excited by it. I hope Wales do shite though, sheep shaggin cunts.

  7. Nothing sums Gazza after football up better than this picture.

It's sad because as a bairn he was my hero, well him and Peter. I'd love him just to have a degree of sanity.

  8. It's all to do with attention. He doesn't get much attention these days till he does something completely idiotic. You just need to see his twitter, he is probably the most self-centred person on it. He doesn't follow anyone and nearly every tweet he makes is about himself and how wonderful he is. The attention he received throughout his career bordered on global, now he's just an ordinary bloke and he can't cope with it.

  9. That Jupiler is nice as well ;)

    Aye man! :excl:

When I was in Brussels the day before Charleroi, I went to the oldest pub in Belgium 230 years old. I had a drink called kriek, basically cherry lager, got me pissed after 3 bottles.

  10. Was the England cricket team's "barmy army" tosspots a thing back then?.....I think England's support in general over the years has gone a bit like that, in lots of ways it's a good thing. Depends how much you respect Stevie and his mates chucking plastic chairs at the police in Charleroi in 2000 then getting scuttled by water canon on News at Ten :D

I wasn't at the Germany game, stayed in Amsterdam after Portugal in Eindhoven, but I WAS at the Romania game. Behaved like a saint. Don't even think I had more than 6 Juliper, what a fucking cracking lager on the pump that was over there.

  11.

They tend to be shite too these days, but aye, it helped in 1994 anyway :D

Larsson had a decent World Cup, then he ended up in Feyenoord Reserves, then the jock pub league for 7 years.

  12.

My attitude towards England in tournaments remains the same - support us while we're in, laugh at distraught southerners when we crash out.

It's easier for you because if England play shite you can always turn around and say Kom igen Sverige ;-)

  13. I think that show on BBC1 was the best hour of Shearer's career off a football pitch. He was decent crack, and what an interesting documentary about Euro 96 it turned out to be. Jealous of Venables like, amazing place, it's like a top mafia bosses residence which is what he looks like. Even Gazza was on a lot better form. I think 20 years ago, 90% of us badly wanted us to win the Euro's, today it feels like 50% don't give a fuck.
