  1. Still can't believe we got rid of Geremi and Pancrate.
  2. Look into HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) it's as short as 20-30 minutes a day and rather than just burning calories during exercise (which is what LISS, Low Intensity steady state, cardio does) it keeps burning calories throughout the day. It's basically a burst of near maximal effort followed by a 'rest' period, for example 30 seconds sprinting then 60 seconds walking on a treadmill reverting between the sprinting and walking for 25 minutes. I think they were mentioned (not 100% sure) but Tabata's are also very good they're basically 20 seconds of intensive maximal effort followed by 10 seconds of complete rest done for 8 cycles (so 4 minutes total), knock up a quick circuit of 3-5 Tabata's e.g. your exercise bike, press up tabata's then bodyweight squat tabata's so then 12-20 minutes and you're done.
  3. Lazy or not, he's made far more of a positive contribution in terms of goals and assists than Obertan, the man who kept him out of the team. Plus Obertan very rarely makes a tackle anyway, the man's a total coward who hides from the ball and opposition players.
  4. Aye and if the ref hadn't made an abysmal decision their '1st goal' would have been a free kick. I agree with others we need to let him play to his strengths and cover him, we didn't play players like Robert expecting him to retain possession and track back, when we have Tiote we can definitely afford a 'luxury' player especially one that has provided 2 goals and 2 assists in his last 3 games.
  5. It's around 3 year after the world ends so who really cares?
  6. Whatever did happen with Zamblera? Had his contract terminated by mutual consent at the start of this season iirc.
  7. Agree with all the other points you made but I do feel Pardew has to take at least some of the blame for this one, the high line had landed us in a couple of nearly situation in the 1st half as well as catching them offside a few times (which it's meant to do) but once the Santon incident with Johnson happened Pardew should have changed tact we could have easily been down to 10 men there simply because Fulham caught us with the high line once. We started the second half slowly and rather than passing it around we'd seemed to resorted to trying the long ball which lost us possession constantly, they got a wrongful pen decision but then the high line killed us. Just as we praise Pards for matches like the Man Utd one he deserves some blame for this, as KSA and others have pointed out this isn't the first time he's employed this tactic against pacy strikers and paid a price, Chelsea and West Brom being the glaring examples. We can put this down to a freak result because if we'd had Ba and Tiote I don't think we'd of lost this but Pards needs to figure out how to defend the straight runs from quick strikers on the counter. Williamson on the half way line, oh dear.
  8. He barely ever played for us, I went to school with a lad that come through the youth system with him that reckoned he was class. You've seen him more than anyone on here I'd reckon.
  9. Aye its been mentioned on here before too Aye it's to make sure it doesn't fall in the same year as the world cup in 2014, they should just do it the same years as the Euro's tbh.
  10. This, he shouldn't even appear in any other game though.
  11. Class team that was, him and Bramble were a force in the centre.
  12. That lad's a right mug noticed him before, a few of them are being realistic so hats off to those few I guess. Where's this Ba is VERY injury prone crack come from? I thought his problem was a degenerative knee thing where it's not so much a niggling injury and more so he'll probably not have the longest career/if he's in a bad challenge his career might be over sort of thing.
  13. They'll have a cheesy chip and blue panda pop party the night, complete with a spread of microwave meals from Iceland. This is a definite occasion for them to crack out the white lightening for. Then off to bed for a wank over a picture of Martin O'Neill and his lazy eye shaking 'Quinny's' hand. CUNTS Crab stick and prawn ring stinky finger wanks all round. They'll all be praying 'sewpa' kev is on the 12" crt the night.
  14. It's all been downhill since Cely Babs left tbh. Miss his ineffective going to ground while their forwards skip past with glee. Him and Stevie Carr give us two solid flanks as well as attacking threat.

  16. Lovenkrands. I'd even rather a 5 man midfield, or playing Ben Arfa behind Best and Ryan Taylor on the right. Shola contributes less than nothing and what I mean by that is he loses us possession anytime it comes to him, the phase of play where he was stood offside and Ben Arfa won the ball from a fulham player only to have an offside Shola run over and take it off him was laughable. I'd like to see the stats of Shola's last 2 performances tbh be interesting to see how many fouls/offsides and incomplete passes he has.
  17. Don't dare look at RTG. Probably their best day of the season so far. Let them have it the sad twats, it just goes to show how obsessive they are. We were piss poor today, aided by some poor reffing but again we were punished for playing a high line against fast strikers hopefully Pardew can re-think doing this against counter-attacking sides in future.
  18. Half of Sunderland is on here now the sad twats.
  19. Agreed, the centre backs were on the halfway line and he can't even say 'we were chasing the game' as that was for their 2nd goal. I honestly believe I could beat Williamson in a 100m if I was running backwards I don't understand why when playing forwards that are quick like Ruiz, Dempsey and Johnson he had Williamson not just at the half way line but actually in their half.
  20. Aye I've always liked Dempsey, but this isn't the 1st match we've been shown up by pacy strikers when playing a high line Pards really needs to learn how to defend quicker forwards.
  21. The ridiculously high line has given them yet another goal.
  22. Ben Arfa with a bit of magic there.
  23. Agree with this, we should have been 2-3 up by the half. Shola has been completely anonymous and Best has struggled as the lone man up front, it doesn't help that neither of them can read when and how Ben Arfa, Cabaye and Guthrie are going to put in their through balls because they're a pair of idiots.
  24. Shola's been nothing short of a disgrace the past few games tbh, he's not looked to work hard and try and impress to keep a place in the side instead he's stood offside the entire game and miscontrolled everything that's come his way. His 'goal' was a total joke he was stood offside then started running ahead to almost ensure he stayed offside . He really wants to give his head a shake the man has no shame.
