  2. Supposedly they are only after 6m for him, and i don't see the problem with fat arse pulling 5m or 6m out of the 60m+ that he made off us getting promoted. It really does bemuse me. I hate him with a passion.

I don't know how the hell the scum got 9m for Jones, when all he is, is fucking Strolla Ameobi with dreadlocks.

  3. To be honest, if he is that keen on playing for us, and has that desire to want to come and play for us then good on the lad, he is exactly the kind of player we need in our team at the minute, and no doubt he will have alot to offer if he were to join us for the season. His injury record is good, and he most definently isn't injury prone like the midfielders we've had i.e emre, viana etc..., and he is someone we need who has proven record of being a decent goal scorer from midfield, a good freekick taker and his assits aren't to bad either, and the pace is just another factor that we need.

Who knows what his real intentions are? I'd be made up if he was keen to play for us, rather than just being keen to get away from Marseilles. But the main thing is just that he's a good professional. The tough thing to figure out is whether we're actually serious about signing him, the statement from the Marseilles president suggest not....

I suppose we will just have to wait and see what happens, and to hope that he does want to come to us, and that how lot can pull their fingers out of their arse's and make something happen.

Yeah, absolutely. They can take their feet out of their mouths at the same time

  6. I was very dubious of this, not expecting anything to come of it. If he has been signed, even if initially on loan I'll be quite surprised and pretty happy, but only if it comes with the option to buy at the end of the loan period with the loan amount being taken off the final price. IE. If the agreed price is £8m then we would only have to pay £7.2m at the end of the loan period if we wished to retain his services having forked out £800k for the loan. That way we basically get to have a year long (expensive) trial. If he's no good at the end of the period bye bye.

His age and reputation make this potential signing one that is in keeping with the proposed system at Newcastle. Surprisingly if it comes off it's for once a signing that will hopefully help to fill a quite significant void we have - creative players.

Plus in Guti, Routledge and Arfa we'll have a bit of pace at least, as opposed to old carthorses like Nolan, Smith and Campbell.

If we sign him we can get him in the team for the Man Utd game, as he has match fitness and everything. I was talking to a lad at work today who reckons Hughton will adopt the 4-4-1-1 role with Ben Arfa playing behind Carroll.

  7. RAUL is poised for a shock Premier League move with Tottenham top of the queue.

The Real Madrid ace has snubbed Germans Wolfsburg, insisting he wants to end his career in England.

Raul, 33, who played 39 games and scored seven goals last season, is being hunted by Spurs and Newcastle and is available on a free transfer.

Agent Barry O'Connor holds the mandate from Real to find Raul a club in England.

And he said: "With a player of this pedigree there is always a lot of interest but nothing will happen until Real Madrid give the official go-ahead that he can leave."

Spurs boss Harry Redknapp has a track record of signing top senior stars like Teddy Sheringham and squeezing the best out of them.

After Redknapp was beaten by Liverpool to signing Joe Cole, he is keen to add to his squad. But it has been made clear by chairman Daniel Levy he will not break the club's pay structure.

It is understood Raul, who won 102 caps for Spain and fired 44 goals, would prefer a move to London.

But Newcastle want to show they are ambitious on their return to the top flight and Raul, the top Real Madrid scorer of all time with 311 goals in 722 games, is on their radar.

Surely there is no guarenteed 1st team football for him every week at Spurs is there?. They have Defoe, Crouch, Gudjohnsen & Pavyulchenko. He could do a job for us don't you reckon?.

  8. Alright lads, i'm trying to find the song that they play just before the players come out and it kicks into the local hero song..

Its the opera style song they play just before they kick into local hero..i just cant find it anywhere. I would appreciate it if anyone knew the name of it. cheers in advance.

  9. Alright lads,

i was just wondering if any of you knew of any companies that do the whole playing at SJP thing?. I know FootballCV do it, but they don't seem to have had it this year. So do any of you lads know of any other companies that organise that kind of thing?.

    Cheers.

  10. Alright lads,

I recieved a text from two mates while i was in work today, and it was about a breaking story, which will probably break into the mainstream media by the end of the weekend pertaining to Steve Gerrard, and apparently, he has gone and done a John Terry, but maybe a little bit worse, by getting a 16 year old pregnant.

I'm not sure of the validity of the rumour, but look for it to break into the mainstream media by the weekend if its true.

Read elsewhere that allegedly his wifes been at it aswell. Allegedly. Have I covered myself sufficiently yet?

Yeah i heard that it was Kris Commons mate.

Fucking hell, i thought my brother was a fucking spastic and he's a mackem, but you just take the fucking biscuit you ya prick.

  13. To be honest, who care's what he gets paid?, we all know his love for the club, and you could tell in his interview he was already devastated by the position the club is in. Regardless of the money he love's and would do anything for the club, and that's proven by his 10 year career at Newcastle.
