If we lose this my Christmas will be ruined. Alif my sources are correct a win here could have a huge bearing on the sale of the club. -
Not so much as an apology for the horrid 'tackle' he committed against Lejeune in the season opener, that saw Lejeune out for six weeks. No wonder he's doing it again, didn't get punished for it last time so figures he's done nothing wrong. “At first, I was angry,” he said. “We all make mistakes, we all commit fouls but I think an apology would have been good, especially from such a great player, the England captain, but I have never received one. I was angry then but now I have moved on. “Was it a red card? yes. It is important to punish such tackles. It was a difficult time, a very difficult time for me because I had only just arrived here, at a new club and a new country and I was trying to establish myself in the team. I had prepared very well and then suddenly I got injured and I was very frustrated. “I had to see a specialist and then I worked really hard and am pleased that I am now back in the squad. I do not think it was revenge challenge or anything like that just the way it was done and that there was no apology afterwards. Then again, that’s football, things like this happen all the time."

Whoops, for some reason I had it in my head that we played Man City before West Ham. Whew. This is actually a reasonable performance to launch into what will be a vital game for us this season, not just for our hopes of avoiding relegation, but perhaps in helping in the change of ownership that the club so desperately needs. Joselu should be dropped of course (Gayle being the only option to replace him), otherwise the same team should start.

One of our better games in recent months, showed some resolve in the second half and were largely defensively ok throughout. If we had some decent strikers we'd have scored an equaliser, Perez in particular wasted some.veru good chances. We should consider this a warm up for the Man City game, key that we don't get massacred im that because that West Ham game is of vital importance.

Atmosphere completely lacking, no wonder with the on field performance. -

Oh dear. Felt like we were just watching them play in the lead up there. Surely need to mix things up. -

The three points should mean a whole lot more to us than them, but you'd never tell from watching. Horrid second half of football so far. -

Indeed, he'd do well to hold one soon to settle the nerves though I'd prefer they don't shoot instead. -

Dangerous turning his back and raising his arms in the box Ritchie, lucky he was close enough to their player to get away with it. -

That was a pessimistic prediction based off; their forwards, Lejeune's heavy handed clumsiness and our standing with referees. -
