  1. Not bad considering Leeds has always been a Rugby League city, with our county cricket team. You? You've only got Newcastle 'toff' Falcons. We have the Rugby League world champions and Yorkshire CC. Proper fans... As you quite rightly say. So you're saying you lot prefer cricket and rugby league to football? Before the Revie era, as has already been said, Leeds were nothing more than Luton Town, by the end of it, we were one of the biggest clubs in the world. Before this, Rugby League was always the way of life, and considering that from 1975 onwards our ground has only held 40-44k, I think that's pretty decent going.
  2. UEFA and the international media acclaimed us to be the real Champions of Europe. Even the Paris paper at the time on the front page had the headline: Leeds United Worthy Champions. Mind, what do you expect being Leeds? Being robbed is all part and parcel. Nice to see you moved on anyway. Aye, and for the worse, European Cup Final to the Third Division. Isn't that the league what Hereford were in when they beat Newcastle in the FA Cup, 1972? The season when we won it. I fail to see how that's supposed to get to us like. No, it's a genuine question as I'm not too sure as to what division they were in when they beat Newcastle, despite the Toon having a 1-0 advantage. They were non-league. Before I was born like. You really are clutching at straws now. Fuck me, I play for a non league reserves side. Never realised they were that low. 'Kin ell.

What was your excuse?

  6. None whatsoever, would be amusing though to see what you can come up with though - Go on, try and do something different as to what I've never heard before.
  7. Aye, cos we're so less populated than the rest of the stadium Clever of you to throw up a mid-week Intertoto Cup qualifier match from mid-July that was played in Spain like How about digging out some images of our lot in the away ends in the Premiership last season. As good as full every single time. The scousers go on record as saying we were the best travelling support that had at Anfield all last season and that includes the CL semi final! Two years ago we were supposed to play a German side in pre-season, the game was cancelled and another was arranged in its place over the border within 24 hours. 1,600 Leeds fans there, despite only have 24 hours notice. 45 fans?

  9. Pathetic. At least stick to taking the piss out of our fat twat of a chairman, where it might stick. You fucking idiot. Pathetic? That's what the whole country seems to think of Newcastle at the moment; Replica shirt wearing Ashley, Dennis 'what does he do' Wise, Barton, Some fat cunt showing his belly to the world, Boooo! There you go, something worth taking the piss out of, come and join us on Saturday afternoon to give them some shit. No tar, I'm at Swindon on Saturday.
  10. Except you got beat in the final 2-0... Is that when their wonderful fans smashed up the Parc de Princes (sp). Aye.
  11. Post war? Nope. Why should that count? Football has been around a long time... Many couldn't give a shit about what happened in 1926, however, on the other hand, the 1970's is known by the majority of football fans as the greatest footballing decade to date. I would say the 50's would be better like, or the 60's. 1950's? Fuck me. Of course. I think it meant more to people back then and the fans were better. Newcastle fans you mean?

  16. Aye, that's true, but by the end of Revie's tenure, we were along with Liverpool, Real, Barca, Bayern one of the biggest clubs in the world. And now you're in League One. Yes, well observed.
