just heard a rumour that tomorrow will be kinnears last game in charge and his final weeks pay will be payed up and alan shearer and his backroom staff will take their place. the reason shearer is ready to step in is because BBC have lost the highlights for next season so that means no MOTD. part of the rumour is that the new owners what shearer in place before they complete the takeover

Liverpool home is the only home game I've missed.
Newcastle, Fulham, Chelsea and Portsmouth away.

i know everyone is playing down Saturday but i just have a feeling there is going to be some kind of announcement, even if its to say we've not been sold, i just think there will be something.

8 years running, then real life intervened! Still get to all home and most aways, but it's nice to just sit in the pub sometimes, a la this weekend with Chelsea. Fuck giving them bastards £50 ever again.
The Euro Trips remain the best though, really hope we get back there sooner rather than later.

When it was warm in August and the ground was full, like it was against Tottenham, genuinely they were the very very best of times, going to the match everyone expectant, you couldn't beat it. Considering I'm only nearly 16, my all time low of supporting Newcastle has to be either :
1. This seasons derby defeat to Sunderland, as it was my first real away game and I went myself, and I was totally gutted
or
2. When we got beat in the semi-final of the FA Cup, after all the time and effort spent getting there, then we get beat 4-1..
