1. I need one for my flat, seen one for £59. Is there any way I can get a cheaper one from any shop/website?

    31873

    Tight arse! :icon_lol:

Try pricerunner or something similar, although I'd be a bit weary about going too cheap as you generally gets what you pays for.

  2. I think all my thoughts have already been summed up by others but I'll have my 2 minute rant anyway.

Although the majority of the team played complete shite I think the blame should sit well and truly with the swede.

4-5-1 didn't work against Wales so why play the same against N.Ireland?? We've got arguably one of the best strikers in Europe... probably the world with Rooney (despite the fact he's a tad immature and throws hissy fits every once in a while) so why the feck play him on the left of a 5 man midfield!?!?

I thought Beckham played quite well mopping up in front of the back four and spraying passes about... but then it was only against N.Ireland. SWP started off quite well on the right until the ludicrous decision to replace him with Joe fecking Cole! How this one man circus gets in the squad let alone on the pitch is a complete mystery to me - the twats got no discipline whatsoever. Against Wales he was supposed to be on the left, yet where did he appear most? Bloody centre! At least with SWP we had someone who could, and did on the odd occasion, get behind the N.Ireland defence. As soon as he went, so did Englands attacking options.

Then there was the most outrageous decision ever... Hargreaves on for Lampard. Oh dear! Did we have noone better on the bench than him? How on earth can Hargreaves get picked over Scotty Parker? Hell, I'd even play Jenas before Hargreaves. An England international with no first touch, I'm sure the rest of the world are shaking in their overpriced Nike boots!

So, to summarise, complete garbage and doesn't fill me with any confidence about finishing top of our group.

  3. FOR FUCK'S SAKE!

In reply to the pm that you sent, let me explain a couple of things.

This:  :D  means that the comment I made (or anyone else that uses it) is only a joke and should only be taken as a bit of fun.

Aye I got the same PM and responded similarly. Learn to take a joke, NERD!:lol:

Damn, and there was me thinking I was special! :sing:

    :sing:

  4. Lets watch Wor Al bang em in and all the fikkle toss pots on here go quiet

    26203

Not sure I'm one of the 'fickle tosspots' (hope I'm not) but I just hope you are right about Al 'banging them in'.

    26240

    Me too!

  5. I heard Souness in the Press Conference say;

'Michael was my first choice. I put his name at the top of the list of players I wanted and handed it to the chairman who then fell off his chair.'

Surely we would have felt the effects of that for miles around?

    24940

How can you fall off something that's wedged firmly up your arse?

  6. I e-mailed talksport 5mins ago to tell them about NUFC ordering loads of letters for the Owen shirts.

They gave us a mention as well, as I included our website address!

    What do I win??

    24783

Nothing until you can provide an sound byte confirming what you're claiming.

  7. I'm not a fan of loaning out Milner to them for a year tho, I'd rather try tempting them with a bit extra cash and keeping Milner here, maybe go to 2.5mil and if they insist on having Milner then offer them what they are asking (about 1.5mil I think with Milner on loan)

    24560

Hmm... anyone else think that this proposed deal makes it look like O'Dreary believes he could be taking over the reigns here?

O'Leary: Now if I let them take Nobby back for the peanuts I payed for him and only borrow Milner for the season then I get both players when I take over from Sourpuss. Mwahahahaha!!

  8. No, ITV can fuck off again, "What comfort can you give the fans at anfeild about the possibility of you joining them again a few years down the line"?

    24509

Are they seriously asking these ridiculous questions? Someone should lamp the fucking ITV reporter if that's the case!! :fuk:

  9. Let's see..

    Nobby - £1.5

    Jenas + £8M

What are we going to do with that 6.5 IF we sign Solano?

    24453

Have you heard of Michael Owen? :fuk:

    24457

he rings a bell. wasnt he the bloke that used to be good but has no ended up playing for a team fighting relegation just so he could earn loads of wedge?

    24492

Nah, you're thinking of Kevin Phillips.

  10. Jenas completes £8m Spurs switch

Jermaine Jenas has completed his £8m move from Newcastle to Spurs.

The 22-year-old was released from England duty on Tuesday to undergo a medical and ensure the switch was completed before the transfer deadline.

Newcastle have been resigned to lose Jenas since he admitted he was unhappy at St James' Park, even though he started the season in the team.

Midfield man Jenas complained that playing at Newcastle was like "living in a goldfish bowl."

Arsenal had also been linked with Jenas, but boss Arsene Wenger insisted he had no interest in the midfield man

    from BBC. :fuk:

    24448

I thought we weren't going to let him go for less than £20mil

  11. Solanos form has never wavered, his assists and goals just keep on coming, £1.5m is a snip.

    24056

That's not entirely true now is it. If you recall the start of the 2001/02 season he was absolute dross and many were complaining about him.

That said, I'd still love to see him back! :fuk:
