The shock is that Arsenal (his 1st club) is the bidder.The accepted offer is a player & cash deal worth in excess of £11 000 000 and will include two of Arsenals high quality youth team. The players are ex Charlton defensive midfileder Alex Song and full back Englishman Kerrea Gilbert. Barry Silkman is fronting the deal and let slip on a BBC show last week called Newsnight. Sammy Lee is looking to sign replacment by the start of preseason Alan Smith from Manchester is 1st choice but the player is unsure of future.
