Northumbria Police said they were alerted after a man walked in to Etal Lane police station in the city on Sunday morning. They later found the body of man at an address in Millfield Close, in the Newburn area of the city. The name of the dead man has not been released. A 41-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder. Insp Jan Harrison, who is responsible for the area, said: "Over the next few days extra police officers will be on patrol in the area providing reassurance to the local community and addressing any concerns they have." http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/tyne/6986201.stm What is it about the West End these days? seems to have become the murder capital of Newcastle?
