sammynb 3963
MICHAEL OWEN’S Newcastle future is still up in the air. Toon boss Kevin Keegan is yet to find out from owner Mike Ashley how big his transfer kitty will be this summer. And the fact the Magpies board has failed to offer England striker Owen, 28, a new deal is another cause for concern. Keegan said: “Six weeks ago I asked them to tie Michael up and it has not happened yet. “It is disappointing but not the end of the world. “I have never said to Michael though ‘Stay here and we can get into the Champions League’. “Mike Ashley will support us but the biggest challenge is getting players to come to you. “I get on great with the owner but I never talk to him. “That is better than some managers at the moment. No communication is good.” http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/sport...icle1128389.ece The only difference between the Sun and New of the World, is there are less alien sightings in the Sun!
