A few usual cliches in there as per usual, but for a mackem, its not too bad. When he's on Sunday Supplement he doesn't come across as being too obsessed, and sometimes is a better listen than Shaun Custis who sometimes seems ashamed to be a Geordie IMO, or tries too hard to show he's superior to the masses.

He's arguably the best mackem bloke I've ever met. He looked after me when I worked for The Journal and he definitely had no hatred of NUFC. When he was editor of The Journal he was on 93k a year, that was 1995, imagine what he's on now working for one of the nationals.
