"58 mins: fan a few rows back shots 'That's TWICE you've been for a piss! Tie a knot in it, man!' to laughs from the crowd. Shelvey tries to put in Joelinton through on goal on the right but is intersepterat, intersexual, err, robbed by Ferdinandino. More as it comes."3 points

Turns out one of the blokes who restrained him was a convicted murderer on day release (really) . So maybe Boris will see the benefit of letting crims out of prison after all. You couldn't make this shit up3 points

This is what I was alluding to the other day. Why has this not been discussed? If you haven't read it, you would get the impression the tory manifesto is benign. It really isn't. It is clear that they are gunning for constitutional and judicial change, which will probably be abolition of the supreme court. With also leaving the ECJ, and very likely the ECHR soon afterwards, it's a terrifying prospect. The other thing is it is clear Johnson does not want a comprehensive trade deal with the EU. He wants the bare minimum and maximum divergence. Was this what people voted for? With the state of the media and in particular the complicity of the BBC, I have never felt so pessimistic about this nation's future.2 points

How surprising that Almiron’s passing is much better when he is on the left side of the pitch and able to use his left foot..,2 points

RTG's match thread on us is a thing of absolute beauty. Fewwwm. Every fucking comment about us from the commentators pounced on as ever. 'Do they not love a striker in the midlands?' 'Fucking Barcelona fans not bothered when messi scores?' Bless them, they're funny and bitter as fuck.1 point

Cracking goal after another bottle job by the ref with that 2nd yellow. Fucking disgrace. Pleased with that, never saw it coming.1 point

How robust is Marr likely to be in the face of a tragic national incident? It'll be a soft touch interview which will allow Johnson to soothe voters fears, expressing solidarity with everyone, and urging the nation to come together to face such threats to our liberties blah blah. Marr will struggle to be combative in such a climate.1 point

The shit we have to put ourselves through in this country just because we're too immature to handle a sensible electoral system, honestly.1 point

Really excited for this one. It's on at 11:30PM here. Which means I don't need to be up at 2AM to witness how shite we are.1 point

There’s also an article from 2015 trending on “shoot to kill” policies where the BBC made Corbyn look a tit by using answers of his for different questions of theirs. The BBC trust literally called it unfair but the article is still up & trending during an election. http://www.bbc.com/news/entertainment-arts-386669141 point

A bit of ambient guitar from one of Andrew's neighbours. Grouper (Liz Harris) has released it for Roy Montgomery.1 point

Apparently there is a fake tweet of Corbyn stating sympathy for the perpetrator of the attack today doing the rounds. It feels like he's going to come under questions about this in the coming days.1 point

mind blowing article, or it would be if you weren't aware of the absolute contempt the police had for football supporters during that era. not much, if anything, has changed. duckenfield is suffering from ptsd? is he fuck, he suffers from a complete lack of compasion or remorse and has done for 30 years. he's a fucking lamentable, lying criminal. nothing else.1 point

Spot on Here they were in the hands of the legal establishment, watching a stripped-down framing of another new set of truths, as if nothing had ever been decided or admitted before, in 30 years. https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2019/nov/28/how-david-duckenfield-trial-left-hillsborough-families-distraught-again1 point
