  1. Tough year for Dave Whelan. First Wigan go into administration and now his business empire is totally fucked. Thankfully he's alive to witness it all, the massive cunt.

  5. It’s incredible when you think about it. The PL could find absolutely nothing in the bid that would give them an excuse to block so they just wouldn’t make a decision or give a timeframe whilst all the while moving the goalposts. Just to keep the teams competing a closed shop. And most journalists are blaming the bidders.

  6. ewerk will allow Margot Robbie to lick his bellend for the same terms he agreed with Scarlett Johansson, but is waiting for the Australian to drop her restraining order to enable him to progress to the next stage of the process.

  9. Aye, getting involved now it’s fucking done and dusted and the PL have been allowed to take the piss. Are we going to get some ‘closure’ now? Seriously, who gives a fuck?

  10. Can you advise them they're a bunch of thundercunts please Troops? Ta.

  11. Yup. I've been saying all along its ridiculous that there isnt a timeframe for the EPL to make the decision. This is exactly why there always is one, in any industry, which can be extended given certain conditions if the case becomes complicated. Now it seems they dont even have to explain the inaction that could turn out to be significant in the history of the club, the city, the region at large. It is just beyond belief. Also, funny how there is no discussion in the media about just how fair the league is now. This should have everyone connected to the sport asking why one particular club was not allowed the sort of investment plenty others already have. The sanctity of the sport, or whatever is left of it, should be in question here.

  13. I guess it’s because he, like a lot of other writers, acts as if it is only a matter of time until he gets his overdue Pulitzer. A lot of journalists are narcissistic cry-babies who throw their toys out of the pram as soon as their investigative masterpieces or their godlike understanding of everything gets questioned. I know very few journalists who are capable of changing their narrative once they have made their mind up about something.

  17. Aye, any transfer of ownership would be subject to the same tests. I’d also be surprised if 39% ownership didn’t make them subject to the tests but I’m not certain.

  21. The banning of bein could be connected to the alleged attempt to buy the tv rights fir SaudivArabia. The League might have said that bein sill had the rights so they couldn’t be sold again. But that’s just a wild guess.

  22. Yeah, if you had to pinpoint the moment the takeover looked more likely to fail than succeed, that was it

  23. Aye, he’s just a miserable cunt that just seems to want to point score as you say. He was correct about the BZG bid seemingly being a bit of a non-starter, rather than bother learning about this bid he just assumed it was exactly the same and is now gloating that he’s right (despite the fact he’s not at all, the deal was absolutely happening if the PL hadn’t fucked on). He definitely takes pleasure in winding fans up, but then can’t take an ounce of criticism or winding up back as he always just falls back on that he’s lived in the NE for 20 years then turns off comments for his next wind up attempt. I just hope people start treating him like they should treat the PL, just switch it off, don’t read his shite, or give him clicks. I’d say he’d be worth sticking with if he ever gave any good information, but quite frankly during the time I’ve paid any attention to him he’s not broken any new information that’s actually that relevant, or even given any good insight into something someone else has broke, and honestly it’s just all negative. I mean he’s currently bigging up a potential bid that he somehow finds more credible than the one that was actually in the O&D test despite the fact the bid was being said (pretty sure by him) to have been accepted by Ashley weeks ago just pending the Saudis failing the O&D test, so did that not happen weeks ago if they’re just talking about bidding now yet Ashley and Penfold are 100% committed to the Saudi bid (the hint here being it’s the only fucking bid).

  26. No you don’t understand.....they were Arsenal or Liverpool fans till 5/6 years ago, then suddenly they’d been AFCB die hards since before they emerged from the womb. Though they all gloated when AFC & LFC won something in the last year or so, and were a bit sad tonight “Top six “ scarves out for September I imagine though...winners you see... 😏

  27. I know some clubs have had decades of the doldrums, but 13 years of Ashleys reign has sucked the optimism and any hope out of this club and fanbase. I think I probably said the same last year but I couldnt care which league we ended up in, as long as there was something to fight for, as long as it wasn't to be a whipping boy for those at the top end of the table or just to fight relegation. Its bollocks.

  28. True but look at it now. How many are going to stick around? Any half decent bid comes in now for the likes of Dubravka or ASM and they're gone. Bruce has already made some excuse about the current climate we won't be making waves in the transfer market. Its looking bleak as fuck and I like how people are optimistic but there is only so many times a club can flirt with relegation or go down before it sticks. The championship is a fucking tough league.

Got any plans for winter?” Fred Badger “ Nah, gonna eat like a taxi driver all autumn then kip until April- same old same old mate.” Mick Badger “ Still a Toon fan?” Fred Badger … *points at face

  36. Not making a decision, refusing to put a timeframe on the decision, imposing unreasonable conditions and then refusing to comment about it afterwards absolutely stinks of high-level corruption imo. What excuse do they have for such a lack of transparency?

  41. If it is as Staveley says that the told them to neither approve them nor reject them then the consortium will have a strong legal case. Same applies for the timeframe of not getting a decision until the expiry date of the takeover contract. For damages they can start with the deposit the fat bastard did pocket.

  42. Cancelled Now TV and my contract with BT is up in September and that'll be going as well. Now TV is automated so just put in the comment box over not wanting to watch a corrupt PL. They probably won't give too much of a fuck but there you go, like the first time I chucked my ST on the desk like a disgruntled sheriff chucking his badge at the chief after he's pulled them out of the shite after I'd got a ratty reply from someone at the ticket office that I could easily be replaced, it felt briefly satisfying. *Aware that last bit was written in a similar style to the man who once wrote about the man who once sung head over heels to describe a certain Joseph Kevin Keegan.
