I think first half we were really good, we absorbed their threat well and sprung the counter really well. re: the rest I think a lot of people assume the Saudis have been interested in football for 5 minutes. But iirc Al-Hilal are the most decorated club in Asia and were the most successful club of the 20th century from that continent. I can’t really comment as I didn’t watch most of the second half but people moaning about us sitting too deep in the second half might also have a look how Man City reacted to getting hit on the counter numerous times in the first half. From the few minutes I did watch it was more difficult as City were more aware. I guess it became even more difficult when we were getting more and more tired.
