Our best bet is that Burnley don’t go up in the Summer.

Vurnon Anita. A player who, on Twitter, gradually turned into Zidane the longer he sat on the bench
Aye. He was terrible too. -

I also don’t understand what pride you’d take from a player you’d previously had on loan doing well back at their proper club. It’s not exactly David Beckham at Preston North End considering how MASSIVE Sunderland are.
And is Diallo a superstar in the making or just the latest in a long line of overrated Man Utd youngsters? (He’s not even that young).
I thought he was 19 or 20. He is 23 this year.
Just for comparison, Radu Dragusin is the same age.

He's a cunt, he's got a notoriously short fuse/bad temper and is widely rumoured to have slapped his Mrs about.
The only one with anything "normal" about him is the ginger one.
I love a spurious rumour.-

Im not even sure why a 9.5 year contract was floated as an idea. Surely 4 or 5 would have done. It's better for Haaland than Man City.
-
He might want to play CL football regularly, and the chance to win more trophies.
Hopefully we do both this season.

He also says "why would he leave?"
That's about as fair an assessment as I've seen from a pundit tbh. "He's fucking amazing, he'd walk into any other team and they'd love to have him, but why would he leave Newcastle."
Thank you very much Mr Deeney.

9.5 year contract for Haaland!! Can we do the same for wor Alex?
That’s mental. He’ll he 33/34 when that runs out. I bet there is a release clause somewhere if Real Madrid come sniffing. -

The level he plays at it's just an absurd framing to claim he couldn't get into the side.
The truth is that he is effectively in his first season at the club, and was being eased in/finding his best position.
Listen, you made a terrible, terrible mistake, and were as wrong about the player as it's possible to be. We're all prepared to accept that and move on but you need to stop this silly talk about couldn't get a game.
I’ve never been wrong about him. I knew he had massive talent and desperately wanted him to succeed but it wasn’t looking good for him earlier in the season. He wasn’t in the team and didn’t look great at 8. Eddie has managed to sort out the balance of the team by putting him 6 and it’s worked wonders. He looks like a top lad and I’m chuffed for him. -

Yeah, the idea that he "couldn't" get into the side is also bollocks. He was never being kept out of the side by Longstaff.
He was tried at RCM and we weren’t getting the results so Longstaff came back in for him. -

There's no point in having Kelly in the squad. It had him while Botman was injured (and Lascelles).
A left-footed centre-back can only play on the left side of the centre-backs. We have Burn, Kelly and now Botman. We have to get rid of one.
If we want a fifth centre-back (which we could say, when Lascelles is there, that could be Kratfh) it should be a right-footed one.
Diego has spoken. I rest my case.-

I thought Rico Lewis was a full back? He doesn’t look upto it to me, at the moment. I’ve never been that impressed.

Aye, we are. I think Bournemouth will be a big test on Sat. We never do well against them.
What's happened at Man City? The blue chip players look like they lost a few % (Walker, KDB, Grealish, Gvardiol). You look vulnerable at the back for the first time in decades.
