  1. HAHAHA...ok, i reckon the nerves are kicking in now !!! I'd love to know where your confidence comes from. Even when we've been by far the better side there's always the nagging doubt that anything can happen in football, especially a derby. If this is what you lot are like now, fuck knows what you would have been like had you have been as good as we were under KK/SBR when we played Crosby's/Butcher's/McCarthy's half wits. 3-1 home win and we'll send you home to think again. OUR SLIGHT confidence comes from the fact that we have the better team ...which hasnt happened very often since you were formed in 1993 !!!! but as we know the better teams dont always win ...so u may win...ill tak a draw HAHAHAHA!!! Fuck off, man you dopey mackem bastard! You telling me SAFC's crowds haven't risen like every other club since the early nineties? I can't seem to recall any chairman of NUFC's whinging like fuck to the press about how he wished his clubs supporters were as good as Sunderland's despite being in a higher league ten years before 1993. Sorry, mate, that'll be the nerves kicking in I suppose? WTF u going on about mag ??? Our team Squad is far better than your championship winning team ...is all i was on aboot ..la

  12. Didn't really mean you personally like, just seems the general consensus in this thread. Strange surge of confidence from you lot. Don't see why we shouldnt be confident, we're at home and you've failed to beat Liverpool,Wigan,West Ham (you were at home too, theyre fuckin shit mate ) and Blackburn. Yes youve had some decent results too. But fuck all to be scared of to be honest. I'll be gutted if we don't win. The thing about Sunderland too is they don't really create many chances, we do, well we certainly have done away. I can't even look at the game from a Sunderland perspective, when I do I imagine myself eating potnoodles and drinking cans of ace sitting in my we beat the scum 2-1 t shirt, next door are shouting and it sounds like a woman's being hit, there's a bairn crying, and a blokes shouting at her for not paying the rent, back in the sitting room watching videos of the good old days of Sewpa Kev scoring against Chelsea when they were 4-0 up at half time. Even then if I was a mackem I'd still be nervous, I don't know where their arrogance about this game comes from. In the grand scheme of things they've beaten us four times in thirty year home and away, why the fuck should we not expect to win? As I said earlier, they're Sunderland, we're the toon. You really are a bellend WEARSIDE is confident because man for man we have a better 1st eleven/ squad !!!! SIMPLES ....bit like you ....BTW we arnt arrogant, just a little more hopefull than usual ish .....fucking hell weve had to listen to you sad kernts for the last 17 year and you call us arrogant......Fuck Off LMFAO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  14. Reet mate was a tad childish .....ANYHOO Hello, as a proud geordie who has followed Newcastle United since they were founded in 1993, I feel I must object to the continual mispronunciation of the name of our ground, sportsdirect.com@st.james parkstadium, by your broadcast journalists. This is an exciting new era in the glorious 17-year history of our club, but constantly referring to our ground by its previous name associates the club with a period of time we are frankly trying to get away from, and undermines the good work done by Chris Hughton, Mike Ashley, and especially the 'founding fathers of Newcastle', Mr. Tony Jimenez and Mr. Jeff Vetere. Additionally, everyone knows that the name 'St. James Park' is most closely associated in English Premierball with Exeter City, and the new name is part of a concerted effort on the part of Newcastle Utd to finally step out of their shadow. With your help, I know we'll get there. Yours, Frankenstein Trevor Millivanilli
  15. Dear Sir / Madam, As a lifelong fan of Sky Sports, I was looking forward to staying at home and watching Newcastle vs Arsenal and Newcastle vs Sunderland in the coming days. However, my excitement was replaced by shame, horror and sadness this afternoon after reading the 'Newcastle vs Arsenal Preview' article when you referred to our stadium (SportsDirect.com@St James Park) as simply 'St James' Park'. Our stadium is both a commercial and a footballing fortress and it needed a name which reflected this. It was why I was so delighted when Mike Ashley boosted our reputation and renamed our stadium 'SportsDirect.com@St James Park'. Every time Sky Sports (Or even any other broadcaster, for that matter.) refers to it as St James' Park, it undermines the football club. It undermines the amazing owner and it undermines the Toon Army. In future, I would appreciate it greatly if you referred to the stadium by it's proper title. By this, I don't mean referring to it in an abbreviation. It is not the DW Stadium and we are not Wigan. We are Newcastle United and we are SportsDirect.com@St James Park. It would bring a tear to my eye if I were forced to boycoutt Sky. I would miss the in-depth analysis and would, more importantly, miss Andy Gray and his fantastic touch screen. Please don't make that happen. I wouldn't be able to cope with hearing the term 'St James' Park' when we're playing in the Champions League next season. Kind Regards Francis Todd Malone
  16. Leaves you a bit short in the middle like, especially considering we're playing 5 in there. Man City did as well and Tiote did the work of 3 men against them....made that yo yo gadgie look like an overpaid shithouse and de Jong wasn't too keen to mix it with someone who can take care of themsleves either, the big fuckin girls blouse. If he wasn't so supernaturally stupid I'd rate Cattermole quite highly as a footballer. Can he be trusted not to do something daft on Sunday? Henderson is good too, but neither them nor Malbranque or any else in your midfield is going to score a goal to help you win the match. Thats why you're only one point ahead of us, despite money spent in recent years dwarfing our championship style budget, not to mention our season actually in the championship. Now do you still think you're going to qualify for Europe? We've never once thought we were going to qualify for Europe, or at least none of my mates have even thought of it! Cattermole will have be completely drilled into keeping calm against you lot, no doubt about it, it'll be the final straw with him if he gets a red. Henderson is always calm no matter what the occasion, mind you he can't wait for this one, buzzing in fact. Not sure why you lot seem so confident. You're making it seem that we're shit, far from it, and we'll be the best opposition you've played at home this year if you ignore last night in the cup. Should be a cracking game, can't wait. Well hardly, I said you've got good players but alluded to the fact that your team hasn't got a lot of goals in it. I think it'll be a draw on Sunday. Either side could win it though, and lets face it you lot winning at our place is hardly uncommon. Think I've seen it 3 times myself. Uploaded with ImageShack.us
