These teams tend to have been involved in european competition, related to exciting football or have finished in the top 10 in their respective league more than 3/4 times in the last 50 years. They aren't non entities like Sunderland. we hold all our shirt numbers dear...anyone that puts on the red and white stripes is looked on in sheer envy ....btw well done for having (hate to admit it) a world class striker as your no 9 in the last 30 year !!
