Doing pretty well with my Arsenal team, played 14 lost 1, won 13. Beat Liverpool and Man City away aswell.
Signed a 20 year old from Santos called Paulo Henrique playing him just behind Chamakh and he's already got 10 assists.
Got Lukaku and Kadlec in my reserves. Probably try and loan them out. Kevin is away at Derby at the min, tearing it up in the Championship.

I'm sorry, but Darren Bent had his chance and messed it up by playing shite. Granted, it was against one of the best teams in the world.
Always looked like a striker than couldn't cut it at International level, until this season.

Ancelloti is comparing him to one of the best strikers in the premierships history. Of course he is going to need improvement when pared up against him, Drogba is immense. Time is well on Carroll's side. Players should play for England and be picked for England down to form, and at the moment there isnt a striker in better form than Carroll.

Ever since he scored that goal for the U21's he's just suddenly stopped playing half as well. Probably tiredness like I say, he's played a hell of a lot of games in the middle of the park for a 20 year old.
Sure Fabregas was in the paper the other day saying how playing so many games from such a young age is starting to fuck his hamstrings.

Hope Carrol does turn into the next Shearer or even somewhere pretty close but I must confess I think the lad is getting a hell of a lot of hype at the minute for not a great deal.
He's had a handful of starts in the Premiership and has scored a few goals, but I honestly cant say Ive seen anything spectactular from him that suddenly thrust him to the forefront of England.
Naturally hope it does all work out for him and us.
Same here but I don't think that's the point. I think it's got more to do with the fact that theres a lack of good English strikers out there.

The GK is an odd one. All he has needed now is for ages is someone remotely reliable. Why he didnt go for Given, i'll never know.

Arsenal have been like this for years though, there's always one or two players that let them down. Their bench today was up their with the best in the league, with the sqaud they have they shouldn't be getting beat off the likes of us and West Brom.

There's three leagues difference though. To be fair Blyth are in a better position to grow straight away with investment, there are Blyth fans who are hardcore who don't give a shit about Newcastle or Sunderland. Ugly fuckers up there though dear me.
