  1. I know I'm going to get a load of knobs on :icon_lol:

We're not a judgemental lot on here Bob, if you want a load of knobs on who are we to care?

I hate cold feet. Especially after getting caught in a downpour and the water soaks in through the shoes. That said it happened quite a bit this past "summer", fucking Manchester weather.

I'm in Melbourne two more weeks and I'm getting used to this sunny weather.

  2. I know this will be the unpopular opinion, but you only have yourself to blame. It's your fault your girl's pissed off, what did you expect? You know deep down, whether you'll admit it to yourself or not, that texting this new girl wasn't the right thing to do. You said you got that buzz out of the contact with the new one that you haven't felt with the old one for months, meaning that it's obvious that the contact you had wasn't just friendly.

Now that that's out of the way, this is what I'd do to fix it. Let your girlfriend calm down and come home on her terms. The more you keep pushing her and constantly calling the angrier she'll get. Let her come home, sit down calmly and man up and apologise. Just talk to her about the problems. You've said yourself you bottle the stuff up, not a good idea in a relationship. Open up, apologise.

  3. I could write a book about the differences between Newcastle and Sunderland, two books even. Every great city with a good gene pool, has a jealous cess pit near by where the people are noticably uglier, more downtrodden, less confident, more bitter, with a city which is a shithole. For Amsterdam see Rotterdam, for New York see Philadelphia, for Melbourne see Adelaide, for Milan see Bergamo, for Cardiff see Newport, for Newcastle see Sunderland. Mackems reading this will spit venom at their monitor, but they will also know deep inside it's 100% true.

Stevie my boy, for that you get a <_<

  4. You're probably better off eating some oranges/fruit, vit c tablets usually aren't very bio-available - not that high doses of Vit C are necessarily a great thing for colds anyway (barring placebo).

Bio-chemically and £££'s-wise protein powder is probably the better option.

Reading your posts has led me to the conclusion that you mustn't have many friends.

  5. I recovered from my man flu very well. Was on my deathbed on Monday yet was fit to fly yesterday and got home without any mucous related mishaps. Now it's the jetleg. It's after midnight and I'm wide awake. If there is anything worse than man flu it's jetlag. :jesuswept:

  6. This is why I keep Milton hand gel on my desk at work.

That's a compulsive disorder you have!! Was it Hugh Heffner or Donald Trump (some multi billionaire) who had the same fixation??

    A few jorms. hmmfff.

There's some right fuckin' tramps in my office, they have no shame about not washing their hands after a piss. As IF I'm going to let my health suffer.

Jill? With OCD? Surely not! :jesuswept:

  7. You can take the boy out of Melbourne but you just can't help the poor cunt's shit taste in beer! :(

I know full well that VB is fucking shit. But finding it in a Tesco meant I had to buy it. I can't drink more than one because the second one tastes like arse, but that first one just tastes like home.

  8. He's daft to be leaving him out if you ask me but we can't afford for him to get injured so I'm not too fussed.

Defoe and Crouch are becoming a decent partnership for Pompey and Rooney is Rooney. Owen doesn't deserve to be ahead of any of them. He's better than Heskey sure, but he's too similar a player to Defoe.

  9. I have the same opinion Jimbo. Good. I obviously don't care about the England team, however if it means that Owen is going to have to concentrate on fitness and form for the club then NUFC can only benefit. Too often he's done fuck all for the club and gotten hurt playing for England.
