Our tactics and selection invited a loss from the get go, Pardew did absolutely nothing to compensate for the lack of our most important Sissoko. Just proves again how unstable a manager he is, luck luck luck its all he relies on.

We should've played physical strikers upfront today in the absence of Sissoko, Ferreyra and Riviere together perhaps. Arsenal are almost impossible to score against with skinny players like Perez, Gouffran and Ameobi.

Pardew is useless against Poyet though for some reason, poyets had his number everytime we've had to play against his sides under Pardew.
Just like Mourinho is useless against Pardew, Pardew seems to be useless against Poyet. It's just the clash of styles and the inability to try something different. However it will be good to see so many local players in our side being at the top of their game contra the last meetings where that hasn't been the case, it will make the passion shine through and perhaps make the difference.

Still find it baffling that in 2 winnable games he sets out negatively, which is exactly the reason why weve been so poor this year. He just can't adapt his tactics and resorts back to football that brings us no success. Bringing in Gouffran for these past 2 games is stupidly amazing, especially since it changed winning tactics for losing tactics.
Yeah, it's totally ridiculous, man is sick. He talked about using technical players in the second half as it were a risk, a risk of what? We were under 1-0, what's the risk when you have everything to gain and no more to lose? Why after winning 6 games, great confidence in the team because they finally are getting the football they want to play, does he find it a struggle to keep up with the same motivation. The man is the weakest link we have in the club, no testicles, not suitable to be a top level manager at all.

They dont want you to open the pitch up. You have to take more risks than we did in that first half. There is a reward if you take risks.
The pitch was tricky. It was icing up so I brought some extra technical players on and we took more risks and got our reward for it.
Sometimes you have to take risks in the Premier League.

Seriously? I thought Abeid was one of the better ones. The long range efforts were horrendous aye but I dont blame him for taking the occasional shot on considering the kind of quality we were producing from set pieces and out wide. Was pretty neat and tidy otherwise spraying the ball around especially in the second half.
Agreed, he was just trying to get some shots on goal like, unlike everybody else.

He's not nearly grafty enough for that role though, and does absolutely fuck-all offensively. I rather use Anita on the wing than Gouffran. Pardew must be having a stroke everytime he sets up a team.
