  1. tlDR=I predicted the protest would be a failure and a fuckup, I have been proved right, the groupthink assholes on N-O would rather believe I was a mackem and ban me than accept I was right. They can fuck right off. If in their desperation to recover from this failure, Ashley Out.com uses one of my protest ideas, without making it clear it was my idea, then they can fuck right off too. Anyone who thinks my protest ideas (posted on here somehwere) are worse than having someone drive a Luton van up and down Strawberry Place and having a fan inside a full stadium holding a bocyott poster, needs urgent medical help.
  2. Ah fuck. All that does is make me think, when was the last time we beat Spurs at home 3-0. statto anyone?
  3. Right, so here we are. 3-0. Fucking fuckiddity fuck fuck. I am banned forum Newcastle-Online for being a 'mackem troll'. My crime? I had the audacity to say that if the people behind AshleyOut.com were the same people who organised SackPardew, then not only were the chances of success slim to none, the campaign would be poorly planned, poorly executed and in all likelihood simply feed the media stereo types of NUFC fans. And here we are, I have been 100% vindicated. The bocyott has been an absolute and total failure. Other than not producing a visible impact in the stadium after lots of media hype about how it supposedly had big support, what else did it achieve? Well, on SS, we got a shot of a van running up and down Strawberry Place, we got Carver running on a loop about how real fans support the team, we got Niall Fucking Quinn of all people telling people Carver's "one of us" and trotting out the fact Ashley is supposedly due credit for getting the club back from its "basket case" past, and we got a closeup of an amateur hour A4 poster claiming that we were about to witness a show of unity and strength amongst fans who want a club to be proud of again (o mention of why) - then it cut straight to a shot of the full fucking stadium - including a shot of one idiot holding up the A4 sheet!!!! AaaaarrrrgggghhHHH!!. And then at half time, we got a piss-taking piece filmed in Leazes Park which showed three wee bairns having a kick-about while shouting 'Ashley Out', and made it look like nobody else was there at all. Not a single part of what happened in the run up or today wasn't entirely predictable. The organisation and the message was a fuckup from start to finish, as I predicted it would be based on what I observed from SP. First the protest was to start in Leazes Park, then it was the Millburn, and finally we got the bizarre Gallowgate-Leazes or pub-Gallowgate proposal. I got absolutely fucking mullerred on N-O for not having any ideas of my own. So go back and have a look what I said on there about how a boycott should have been organised/promoted if it was ever going to work (and more importantly, the reasons why I thought the proposed one would be a complete non-starter - as it was - for those very same reasons). I didn't go to the game. I just watched as the club and the fans were yet again made to look like a bunch of fickle, weak-minded and disorganised bunch of amateurs. And AshelyOut.com can knock the whole 'propaganda' schtick right on the head. There cannot be a single person in Newcastle, even all the ones not on social media, who didn't find out about the boycott well in advance - it got multiple mentions in the Chronicle, BBC TV, BBC website and national press, and while they might not agree wit how the Chron reported it, they are absolute liars if they're going to claim they, and everyone other medium, didn't get the central message across as it was presented by them - boycott the game to show you want Ashley Out for showing a lack of ambition and not spending any money The one single thing that happened here of any benefit to the campaign, is that Carragher is making the points the campaign wants to make. Jamie fucking Carragher. Silver linings and all that I guess. Oh, and the team were shit, the result was a spanking, and judging by the TV, everyone in the stadium was not a super fan as John Caver claimed, they appear to have simply sat there and done nothing - they didn't cheer the team, nor did they make any audible protest against Ashley. What they did do of course, is boo at half time, and at the final whistle. I cannot get my head around that at all. If you made a conscious decision not to boycott, then surely the only reason to enter the stadium is to support the team?
  4. Not bothered. I'm off to bed, and I seriously doubt I will be reading either here or N-O in the morning or at any other time in the future. It's been a thoroughly depressing experience, for very different reasons with respect to each site - it makes the practice of following the club under Ashley seem quite harmless actually. If the lads behind AO.com use one of my ideas, great, they know to credit me if they do, and if so I'll try and make sure the nice people I met on both of these so called Newcastle United discussion forums get their due credit.
  5. Apropos of absolutely nothing though, did you two realise how close each other's post count is to your own?
  6. Odd that you haven't changed your approach then. Or is the decline of this forum some kind of parody protest in of itself? No offence, but it really doesn't seem like it would be worth it. Still, take all the time you want if that's your thing, it's not like any of the suggestions involved a tight time-frame.....
  7. Didn't mean it literally, obviously. If you want to know the back-story on N-O, I laid it out in the welcome thread.
  8. It would explain the pitifully low number of people here. Shame it doesn't have the effect of ensuring only the best contributors stay. Although it appears to be ensuring N-O people stay away.....I see you lurking guys - you certainly had a lot to say about me not having any ideas over there, but not a peep out of you over here. What's up with that? Scared of the natives? Despite reading here and N-O all night, it's only been on TalkSport where I've actually seen an NUFC fan get a serious point across about Ashley tonight, and he only had to be subjected to all the stereotypes under the sun to be able to do so. Maybe the serious conversation is happening on Twitter or Facebook or somewhere, but I doubt it.
  9. By contrast, your belief that I am a mackem school kid seems to be quite genuine.
  10. Cynical piss-taking by definition would involve cynicism and piss-taking.
  11. I see your strategy now. By not making any sensible comments on the proposals at all here, you hope to make yourselves look smarter than the people over at N-O, who ejected me as a mackem troll, but are hosting an ideas thread which includes such gems as the guy who proposes clogging up SD by paying for stuff with pennies and then queuing for refunds - a sure fire way to bring Ashley to his knees.
  12. Got a pretty positive reply from .com. I told them not to bother checking here for any sensible feedback.
  13. The caliber of manager that would have been appointed post-Pardew was 100% predictable based on Ashley's record of up to that point. It was always going to be either Carver or a dingle-berry like Bruce, a yes man who didn't cost too much and didn't complain about the transfer/competition policy. And it will be again. And again. Whisper it quietly, but Pardew actually deserves some tiny amount of credit for his time here because according to the media he actually defied his paymasters by playing strong sides in Europe. And he was never as unfailiingly praiseworthy of Ashley as SackPardew would have had you believe, I recall many times he basically said the policy was wrong and was acting against the best interests of the club/fans (and unlike Carver, he wasn't doing so in full knowledge he was probably not going to be in the job for very long).
  14. Can the thread title now be changed? It doesn't make any sense now the ideas have been merged. It should just read "Ashley Out campaign ideas" if they're all going to be in one thread.
  15. Some people can only find happiness in causing other people misery. I think an inspiring banner with an appropriate slogan would go a long way to waking those fans who think this regime isn't all that bad out of their stupor. I don't think a bed sheet with 'Cockney Mafia' spray painted onto it does anything at all except make us look like idiots. Nee offence Monkeys Fist, if I'm treading on a nerve there.
  16. If you can string a few back-to-back wins together in a season and you don't become a gibbering referee/media/board/fan blaming wreck at all other times, then you will always find work in the PL. Palace are up for sale now, so Pardew's time in the sun might not last all that long anyway.
  17. Seriously, wtf? You're actually going to ban me from a Newcastle United Forum for posting suggestions for how to get Ashley out of the club? Can you not see how insane that is? I was willing to put the N-O ban down to me making a bad first impression (even though my actual very first post, in defence of Tim Krul, was actually widely praised!). But this reaction is just fucked up. Well and truly fucked up.
  18. Ah well, whatever. I'm not a mackem, these are genuine proposals, from a genuine fan. If you can't find it in yourselves to take them at face value, then so be it. Obviously they're not going to be discussed properly in this atmosphere of distrust. I had assumed the hostile reception I got at N-O was simply down to what I'd been saying about SackPardew, but I guess maybe it's just an internet thing.
  19. It's a genuine proposal. It would have to be agreed with SAFC, so they could sort out stewarding etc. I see no reason why the locals would even try to start anything if they knew we were there for (imho) the right reasons.
  20. I did hesitate to include this idea, because it is pretty out there, and in all likelihood would lead to whoever attended being accused of being traitors. But at the end of the day, at some point you have to contemplate thinking the unthinkable if you really want change and everything else has failed.
  21. Aye, they didn't like that either. They basically hated everything I did. Friendly bunch of lads really.
  22. Done. http://www.toontastic.net/board/topic/35545-ashley-out-campaign-idea-inspire-the-fans/ http://www.toontastic.net/board/topic/35544-ashley-out-campaign-idea-financial-times/ http://www.toontastic.net/board/topic/35543-ashley-out-campaign-idea-sleeping-with-the-enemy/ http://www.toontastic.net/board/topic/35542-ashley-out-campaign-idea-puma/ http://www.toontastic.net/board/topic/35541-ashley-out-campaign-idea-general-election-campaign/ If that's too many threads for the board, feel free to merge, but I really would like to keep them separate if possible.
  23. Inspire the Fans The inspire the fans campaign would primarily be aimed at those supporters who still go to games and perhaps don't think Ashley is all that bad, or if they do, they fear the unknown should he sell up, to change their minds and start getting behind the campaign for the long term good of the club. This will involve getting some of those fans who have long ago decided not to attend matches, to use that time to stage protests on Strawberry Place before, during and after matches. A key part of this will be to identify a talented graphic artist within the movement, and ask him to craft a couple of really good images to go with a couple of hard hitting slogans directed solely at fans, to be presented on banners made as large as practicable. Using imagery associated with better times, it should prompt them to seriously think about whether or not they agree NUFC is a club which should be satisfied with being a selling club, being not interested in the cups, or being satisfied with finishing 10th as an acceptable season for NUFC with all the resources it currently has at its disposal. Participants should identify themselves with appropriately messaged T-shirts, and should be properly coached not to stray from the central message of this particular campaign, should a journo stick a microphone or a camera in their face hoping for a quote which reinforces some negative stereotype of an NUFC fan.
