Unlike the other comeback boy. Nice to see Shola hasn't lost his very unique touch for: - being offside almost constantly. The one time he wasn't it was by luck. - giving away needless fouls when we are in dangerous possessions. - and of course still having no spatial awareness. Jumping for the ball as it flies 3 feet above his head. Twat. Nah, you don't have a personal agenda against him - you just don't rate him as a footballer. Different things after all. He actually is a twat though. He actually expressed his belief that he could make the world cup squad last year to the media. Self belief is important, but such a poor player going to the media with something like that is just making a twat of yourself TBH! Okay, maybe a bit deluded, but that's different from being a "twat". It's good to see one of our players actually confident for once, whether he looks a bit foolish or not. Anyway, it's his first game back and that's not an excuse. It's common knolwedge players will look a bit rusty on their return and you know that - hence why you never whined endlessly when anyone else on our team returned from injury and wasn't a perfect player. But Shola isn't rusty, he's persistently shit, regardless of match fitness.
  3. Well my annual leave is definitely inadequate... How inadequate? Well I'm entitled to 27 days + bank holidays etc. But in reality, the last day off I had outside of the normal holidays (christmas, new year etc) was last year during the world cup! Shit, thompie, McDonalds really are fuckers. Which would explain why you were conceived there...
  4. I've actually listened to your attempt at music and, fuck me, you're honestly not even in the kind of position to criticize Sclub7
  5. agreed ...brilliant live Aye, saw him at the telewest a few years back was a good gig

And was poor as he always has been. Or should we give him another extended run in the team, this time using the injury as an excuse for his immense shitness? Owen has been out for longer than Shola, yet actually looked like a footballer.

Like the time (when, admittedly he was offside) he brought down Solano's long pass right to his feet? That again is typical Shola though... his best first touches and sometimes finishes seem to come when he's offside and the whistle has already gone. Weird (well, not really). Yup, and on the training ground, which is the only reason the big dumb fucker gets picked. When we get a manager that realizes that he can't do it in an actual premiership match scenario, we'll have taken the first step towards the top end of the league.

  9. Teachers are the laziest fuckers going tbh!
  10. Oh and David Gray. Scouted as a busker with his guitar. Awesome
  11. You don't sell 25 million by being 'just another indie band' to be fair.
  12. Middle class raised, Dad was a car salesman. Anyone else need straightening out on anything
  13. Anticipated. Ever seen the guy pick up a guitar and do a solo? Have you? He used to be in a metal band didn't he? Saw some footage on MTV once. He isn't that good or orignal in terms of his sound from what I've seen or heard. No he never. He's a solo artist and always has been, sometimes backed by a band named Twisted Brown Trucker. Probably one of the most unique acts around in the fashion that nobody covers as many varieties of music as him, from rap, to rock, to country etc etc. You surely have to be a talented musician to be able to make the transition from such different types of music. And he is. Significantly, I think most would dispute that he is able to make that transition tbf. Sold over 10 million of his rock/rap album Devil Without a Cause then hit the top of the country charts with 'Picture' featuring Sheryl Crow, so no, I don't think most would dispute that. Timmy Mallet sold a lot of records like. Do you imagine the likes of Jay-Z consider him to be a credible rap artist? Jay Z and the likes probably only consider you a credible rapper if you're 'from da hood'. Not really a reflection on musical ability, is it? Rap tends to be political though so that wouldnt be wholly undeserved. Perhaps he's technically competent in rap, but I'd question whether he had owt worth saying. Ie is the output actually worth the effort? You've persuaded me on the technical competence though like I say-I'll concede that point and give credit where its due. He's gradually moved away from the rap scene tbh, although when he did rap it wasn't of the 'tell you how hard my life has been' style like an overwhelming number of rap artists tend to adopt. It actually made it refreshing and more uplifting to listen to than a lot of gangster rap.

And he is. Must have just seen him performing, assumed he was in a band rather than doing his solo stuff. He must be talented though I agree although loads of people can play different styles. He isn't technically that good or original is he? As a guitarist that is? As a guitarist I've seen him without his band, just him and a guitar, and think he sounds superb. Aside from him, I agree with both Prince and Slash being immense. No then Well I consider rapping to rock guitars pretty original, and pretty unique...

  21. Kid Rock tbh. Most under rated modern musician by a country mile.
  22. Last season in fairness. He's not the only one though. Aye, last season, before Duff arrived, coincidentally.
  23. I wont actually get sick pay for today so fuck 'em, I hope they collapse without me.
