1. I agree the N.E. doesnt have the same history of black and asian immigration as other parts of the country, but then I've been to Penzance a few times an all and it never struck me as downtown Kingston either.  ;)

I didn't say it was. They just don't have a heart attack if you have a different accent.

Cornwall is very poor in general with high unemployment and there is loads of animosity towards people from London in particular who have bought holiday/weekend homes and have priced locals out of the market.

    75213

Er...I lived there, thanks for telling me all about the place! ;)

It's nowhere near as bad as up here. Seriously, I've lived here for 3 years and Cornwall for 24. I do know what I'm talking about. :D

    75217

Isn't Cornwall the poorest county in England?

    75227

    I blame the inhabitants.

  2. AF, do you consider yourself more Mulligan than O'Hare or vice versa?

  3. I'll try again, BTW I want you to know that I think you're all really great guys!

DotBum used a 3rd party as an example of a talented lyric writer.

That's like me standing next to the hard guy in the pub and telling him Ricky Hatton is harder than he is.

If that's still too difficult then we'll just pretend it never happened.  ;)

The funny part is that I don't really care if you think I'm shit or not, but seeing as how you've never heard my stuff, it does say quite a lot about you.  ;)

    75116

I understood what he was getting at re: the reference to talent, it's the bit about DotBum claiming credit I questioned, seeing as he didn't despite your claim to the contrary. I would have thought that was obvious. That said, I'm still willing to bet you're talking shite re: your album, however you can prove us all wrong by telling us when it's going to be released so we can listen for ourselves. I won't be holding my breath like.

    75130

Ok, I'll try a new tack...I'll see DotBum's Nick Drake and RAISE him a John Lennon.

My songwriter beats his songwriter, ner-ner ner-ner.

You see? Nothing to do with us.

    75142

I see that and raise you a "George W Bush's reading skills beat your reading skills!" ner-ner ner-ner etc. pp.

  4. No, just the sad ones who think insulting each other is "manly".

Bunch of closet homosexuals tbh.

    75053

I don't see how taking the piss out of each other for fun is so wrong like. When other posters call me Frodo I see it as a term of endearment, which is what it is, you sense of humour bypass Southern Bastid. ;)

    75126

What we are insulting each other for fun??? Someone should have told me. I am always dead serious. It would also have saved me thousands of quid I splashed out for counselling...

  5. More drivel from the tosser (from .cock)

"I can understand the fans frustrations fully. In the Middlesbrough game I thought we did quite well, yet we found ourselves 2-1 down in a game that I didn't think we would lose at any stage."

Is he on drugs or what?

    75067

I might get shot down for this but I didn't think we would have deserved to lose against Boro, I thought we were worth the point. The thing most fans were pissed off about was the fact Boro were so awful and were there for the taking, yet we offered very little. As soon as we came out of the ground I said to my mate that McLaren would be on MOTD whining that his team were mugged and deserved to win when in reality it was two bad teams who both deserved nowt.

    75109

The bit about not thinking we would lose is fair enough (until their second goal), the rest is pure shite though, "we did quite well" ffs!

    75114

I couldn't see the whole match, but I agree that Newcastle didn't exactly look like losing, but neither did they look like winning it. And when struggling against a very poor opposition to say that we did well is hilarious.

  6. Aye, I just read the interview on .com as well. He really is totally deluded. Being just a wee a bit self-critical wouldn't be too bad.

And he made Anal's job even easier. Now he has another story he can repeat to death for the next years ("I once got attacked by a player ... I got attacked by a former manager live on national TV ... but Geordie boy Lee Clark gave me always interviews and sung me songs when I couldn't sleep)

  7. Using my gross salary I would be in the top 8.5% in the UK. And that's me always wondering about your prices and how peope can afford them...

  8. it's about to be repeated........kelly dalglish and the bloke next to her say they have mostly backed him

    74703

Who?? The people emailing in??

Gotta be Mackems on the wind up surely?

    74759

They are doing it quietly then, there is nothing on the SMB. Probably Obi and his nutters from Tyne Squawk.

I am looking forward to Anal O's reaction tomorrow...

  9. Whilst it looks entirely possible we could go down, I think we have enough about us to drag our collective ar$es to safety. I can't see (perhaps I'm blinded by my optimism) the likes of Shearer, Given and a few others letting that happen. I also believe that, as piss poor as we are, there are poorer teams than us currently in the league.

This is where LM reminds us of how much we have spent and how little return we have had and how much better our position was under SBR. Before he does that, I agree it's a disgrace and to have reached that halfway point of the season, looking to consolidate our position to avoid relegation is nothing short of disasterous.

If reports are to be believed, we may have a happier, more collective dressing room; but we appear to have an unhappy, directionless, disparate group of players on the pitch.

Please Sir...... can I have my unhappy dressing room that wins games back please?

    74548

I think the whole "happy dressing room" is utter nonsense anyway. We probably havea dressing room full of proper yes-man who are too frightened to say something against the tosser or his allies. I think every player knows that if he dares to criticize any action of Souness he has most likely played his last game for the club.

  10. Was more or less linked with every club here in Jormany. Marseille are apparently desperate to get rid off him as he fell out with the manager. Have seen to few games that I can comment on him.

  11. He is a f***ing coward and a liar. Never duck a fight bla bla most attacking minded manager bla bla only believe in proper characters bla bla has nothing done wrong bla bla injuries bla bla lady luck bla bla

    74598

You still like him as a person though, right?

    74600

Actually not, the more I think about it. He came across as a decent bloke when he was doing the first radio interview and on a couple of other occasions. I probably got fooled as it was the only decent thing I could say about him...

    74604

Well I've never liked him as a person, so there ;)

    74610

I am willingly eating my humble pie for this, not that I take the order Hansen dished out (nice it was dragged up over there at N-O)...

  12. Taking bets, what is souness excuse for our next defeat:

    Injuries: 1-2

    Lady Luck: evens

    Referee: 9-5

    Tactically Inept manager: 100000000000000-1

To do it once is forgivable if he is really pissed off would say something he'd regret, but to do it every sodding game that we lose is just utter cowardice. He's the manager its his job to face the music as ultimately its his responsibility.

    74608

I might make things up, but wasn't another radio interview cancelled in the summer? I think it was after he had answered to letters submitted to him via his then bum-licker Anal O. who described them as very hostile. Yeah, Graeme never duck a fight, eh...

  14. What was his injury when he signed (more than half a season ago?)

    74529

    Alcoholism, allegedly.

    74537

;) Physioroom says 'Hamstring - no return date set'

    74541

He fell down the stairs when he got a beer crate out of the cellar the other day.

    74549

Or did it running for last orders.

    74555

    I blame the government.

  16. And you can bet your mortgage that Man U will be looking abroad too once Ferguson is gone, unless they really go for O'Neill. Now I know we're not Man U, but I'm sure we would be able to attract top-class foreign coaches if the Fat One could be bothered.

    74535

His number 2, the guy from Real Madrid who's name escapes me, will take over when Ferguson goes methinks.

    74538

I think if he packs it in this summer, I put my money on Hitzfeld who is a very close friend of old whiskeynose.
