It was only 6 feet deep and there was two of them the risks on their lives was extremely low so if not wanting to risk their lives is their argument they deserve sacking. Actually they deserve sacking for not helping the 2 anglers, they acted so why couldnt these 2 tossers.

The main worry is I really can't see where the goal is going to come from unless Martins comes on, this is a very negative team to play last seasons 6th best championship team. Why do we have so many defensive minded players and shola ameobi on the pitch?
Pace would worry their defense they are obviously well drilled in defending against utter donkeys from when they were in the Championship we need Martins on or we'll loose. -

You should never boo your own imo, I know it seems the only way to get at them but the only way to really get at them is through the media, phone in shows texts in papers these are fine but to hear thousands of your own booing your team doesn't help anyone.

Are some people on here fickle or what, maybe we didn't have the best of games but we looked very good defensively against some of the leagues fastest players (Young, Aboglahor) Zog was good imo ran up and down the wing all game only one that give milner any support tbh. Agreed that we need someone more creative in midfield but I think we will look alot better with Barton in the side and Butt out of it no idea how he got man of the match he was very average thought Milner more than deserved to win it.Anyway it's still a point against a gd strong Aston Villa with a very suspect referee. Anyway at least the Mackams finally got shown up and le Sib scored.

NEWCASTLE United have given Norwich City permission to speak to Lee Clark about joining the Championship club as part of Glenn Roeder's new coaching staff.
Former Toon boss Roeder was named in charge of the Canaries this week and Lee has been allowed by United to speak to Carrow Road club about the position of assistant manager.
Lee began his playing career with his beloved Newcastle United, making his debut in the 1990/91 season.
He left St. James' Park in the summer of 1997, but after spells with Sunderland and Fulham he returned to Gallowgate at the start of the 2005/06 season under Graeme Souness.
He was drafted into the coaching staff by Glenn Roeder when he replaced Souness, and as well as having first team duties he has also taken charge of Newcastle's Reserve side.
