He got the January transfer debacle just about right. You had his life about it on twitter.Google articles about NUFC by the same 'journalist', he admitted to making up stories because he gets a 'free shot' and anything is believable.

Anyway, if Benitez doesn't get the proper transfer backing he'll be away (not that I blame him). So it's hard to get worked up about this story when we don't know how Ashley will play it and we could lose Rafa to anyone.

The Sunday Supplement after the 2-2 at home to Wigan, iirc they were saying that Colo's header saved Hughton's job. Seemed mental at the time, but a few weeks later he was peddled.It reminded me of when KK was on the brink according to the press but we were collectively burying our heads in the sand because we'd sign Colo and Jonas. That's not a dig at anyone; if you haven't got a bit of romantic optimism where the club is concerned it's not worth bothering. Which probably explains why I don't really any more

Turns out he might have been onto something after all.We've been calling this for a while, Ashley being the thick prick that he is. Then that article that circulated a while back (in the mirror was it?) And yet that little positive part of you cant help but think he might finally have learnt a lesson. No chance. This reeks of the KK saga all over again.

Aye, this is the most first team football he's ever had. Couple of cup games at Arsenal and he's already played more games for us by mid-January than he played all last season for Hull. Mistakes will be made.

It's a cup game so you can listen on the bbc newcastle website. I had the same problem.

Aye, when you see the price mention it all comes crashing down and it hurts inside.Being linked to Scott Hogan now, the Brentford manager says he wants over 15m for him. Again as with the Callum Wilson link I'm not that arsed with the link, Rafa clearly likes 1 up top so I'm not too convinced that he'd go out and spend 15m getting a less prolific forward as backup when we have other needs (unless peoples assumptions about Mitro leaving are true).
I'm still hoping for central midfielders, wingers, or an attacking midfielder, to increase the creativity in the side and give us options for when teams look to stifle (so basically every game now).

I have just been informed that I have been awarded the 'best coach of the month for October ' by the LMA and I am honored to accept. However, as we all know, in a collective sport like football,the whole is greater than the sum of the parts and would not be possible without the effort, collaboration of all those who make up a team. Starting from the players, the coaching staff and all at the club, come together to combine and achieve their objective. To make fans happy who support their club through good and bad times, week in, week out. To all the staff, players and contributors, I appreciate their daily support.
