  1. I saw them at Glastonbury a couple of years back and thought they were canny, although this new (well, re-new) song is cack though. Are in danger of turning into a ska tribute band to be honest.

You're not wrong. Don't mind that song in small doses, but when it's on tv and radio every twenty minutes it gets a bit repetitive.

  2. They've done a dance version of one of his old songs, one I've never heard of before. I think it's shite personally, but he's in with a shout of No 1 allegedly. According to his article he wasn't asked to have anything to do with it, but then he reckons they 'begged' him to promote it and perform it on TOTP and such shite.

    Humble chap.

Butlins is shut for the winter and he's at a loose end more likely.

  3. No conicidence players like him end up playing for about a dozen clubs in their careers.

However if he felt like picking a fight with Jenas when he's back at Spurs and knocking the little bastard's head off his shoulders, I'd happily buy him a non alcoholic beverage.

  4. Ian Wright - an excellent centre forward, an annoying twat as a bloke. Find it quite amusing when everyone goes on aobut him being a top dad to SWP when he spent most of his time screwing anything in a skirt that wasn't SWP's mam. And when he isn's cheting on his wife, he's crying 'racist' when anyone looks at him funny. As for his punditry on England games, all this heart on the sleeve stuff is complete and utter shit. He says nothing constructive, his points are bollocks, but because he talks 'street' and celebrates when England score he's supposed to be one of the boys and a bit 'different' to the normal pundits. Bollocks, get this man off my screen. I'd send an e-amil to the BBC but he'd probably cry 'racist' again like he has throughout his career when he's acted the twat...

The man can do no wrong in my eyes. Anyone that manages to wind Alan Hansen up as much as he does deserves a medal.

To say I'm not a Hansen fan is a bit of an understatement, so he'd be up the top of my list. Preening coward who gives it the big one but bottled the chance to go into management himself.

  5. Hard to top some of the names already mentioned. Don't agree with all of them, but for the most part. . .

Bit unfair not having Sunderland players being eligible though, Gordon Armstrong would be a certainty otherwise.

I'll add someone who was on our 'coaching' staff though, Dean Saunders. He was always a nasty, horrible bastard.

  6. I reckon Prince Charles could be a lively dark horse bet. Not exactly a spring chicken, and now he can get his end away with his bird whenever he likes, got to be a decent chance of heart failure while he's nuts deep.

  7. I think they're absolutely brilliant, most exciting band I've heard for a long time.

What's so 'exciting' about them like?

I like them but they're just your standard 4-piece rock band playing pop aren't they? some clever Lyrics. It seems to me people are believing the hype.

I'd say to be exciting you need to do something new, like Lightning Bolt or Antony and the Johnsons.

Well all about opinions obviously. But, they're fresh, they've got brilliant lyrics and tunes, and there's a real (justified) buzz about them. They are starting to get the hype by the bandwagon merchants I agree, but I've known about them for a while now and they've always been this good.

  8. Lots of memories about my Dad sending down the newsagents on a saturday teatime to go and get the Pink for him, and some sweets for myself for going.

Favourite ever Pink memory, after Quinny's four goal debut against Leeds in 1989, nearly being home but seeing the Chronny van pull in with the Pinks, and buying one.

    Magic day that

  9. Good luck to liverpool winning it last year. And it's daft to trot out this they got more revenue than us, so it's a bad thing bollocks.

It's not their fault Newcastle underachieved and mismanaged on and off the pitch last season.

Of course it's not, but you're happy to see other English teams get bigger are you?

    Amazing

They deserved it, I'm more concerned about Newcastle getting it right than using spurious arguments like that. As far as I'm concerned you're talking shite.

    68928[/snapback]

Oh, well I must be then :nah:

I'd love it for Newcastle to be the biggest team in the world, and win everything; but because that's not happening, I'd rather it not get harder and harder to succeed because the teams around us are getting bigger.

Don't you mind when rivals succeed then?

As far as I'm concerned you've got your head stuck up your arse.

More shite from you, just fuck off and die you cunt.
