  1. How come you don't like it Luke - I could swear you did also.

I'm not doing politics anymore Dan, but still considering Exeter. PPE for you is it not? Whereabouts might you go?

I'm just doing straight politics now. Got offers from Durham, Warwick, Newcastle and Edinburgh and rejected by Oxford. What are you applying for now?

  2. Blackburn 1 point ahead of us. Quick get Hughes in now!

Any idea of what the combined value of the Blackburn squad is compared to ours?

Value and quality are two different things.

    ;) Eh?

We were shocking today like, I'm not sure what Sam is trying to do tactically. We were an absolute mess.

  3. I hope that you're knifed . . . you are absolutely the person I'd most like to die from a debilitating disease . . .I'd be content with your painful death

:birthday: Fuck me, get a grip man Fish. I hope you were mortal drunk when you wrote that. Btw, didn't Crimson Fault get banned after making a similar post directed at you?

    B) The irony is quite funny like.

  4. No, I've told you already... makes things more annoying to read. The fact you dont give a crap and take the piss is disrespectful.

    Perfectly good thread hijacked!

I think Mayweather will win myself, looking forward to the fight though!

  5. I don't think your chances will be great. If you play any form of football in the UK, you must sign a form (or your club will sign for you) saying that you accept all responsiblity for any injuries which may come your way on the field. The only way in which that can be overlooked is if it is felt that you tackle you suffered constituted assault or GBH, or if the referee was negligent (no case has ever been proven in football on this grounds in UK legal history). Might be worth a go, but I'd be surprised if you won.

Pretty much spot on, though I don't think the disclaimers add anything to what the existing state of the law is in any event. It's just rehashing what case law already says so it wouldnt matter if you'd signed anything or not, they're basically redundant as documents. Jurisprudence on the duty owed by the referee has been developed in rugby in the case of Smoldon v Whitworth iirc and it would apply equally to football.

Was that the one with about a million collapsed scrums and the broken neck? That was the only example I could think of in sport. Quite glad this is the case really, otherwise sport would totally change, I think I'd stop refereeing!

  7. Just discovered the Amateur Transplants, who did 'The London Underground Song'

Some of their fantastic other songs:

    Parody of You're Beautiful

    Parody of Titanic Theme

    Parody of Grace Kelly

    Would really recommend it!
