I thought it was about time i came over for a bit. The craic can be much funnier here. Its working again and i'm still here so that says something. Plus i think i managed to pick up some tickets for the west ham game. What with my contributions to this thread its been a decent knock as they say in cricket.

Always preferred socialising/pulling in the Poly than the Uni. Fanny tended to be better too. Your more likely to shag in the initial weeks at the uni but then get into a long dry patch. The Poly is more likely to deliver at a consistent level and hence more likely to wake up in a wet patch.

I havent done any research into this Uni, except from what my course offers, I don't even know where it is.
Its what old cunts call it as it was a Poly when i was around 16, as in a Polytechnic. Even after it changed which was probably around that time, we still called it the Poly.

Aye if they can get the Hall's 40% it shouldn't be hard to buy up enough to have a majority holding in which case I think they may be able to oust Shepherd from the chairman's role, assuming only a simple majority is needed. If that happened then I'd fully expect Fat Fred to fuck off with his tail between his legs.
You can bet that Fred is telling the Halls that a condition of selling has to be his continued involvement. Not going to be that easy to get rid of the fat cunt.
I don't think he can make that demand.
Hall might be able to - Freddy cant do fuck all am sure. Cant see why under FSA you cant specify a management team position? Not sure like as once they control it they can do what they want anyway. Didnt the Man U baord put some conditions to the Glazers about stuff?

An important factor. Most girls go to uni thinking they will meet their future spouse. This must be exploited at all levels. They will mark you down as marriage material if you are both 'clever' and 'geordie' in my experience. This should have you knee deep by the end of freshers week.

Thats a tough call Renton, i think the posh tart can be a strange animal. They are more likely to have a 'plan' which will involve a flurry of initial shagging (which is why i recommend going to the uni freshers nonsense too) but then will be looking to tie a man with money and pedigree down quite early before the next bitch gets them. Yer geordie slapper is not as complicated and will be a lot more accomadating in general. Of the two, the one that drains the balls the driest i wouldnt like to say.

I dont think Shepherd has to sell if they want to takeover. Presumably SJH is talking to Fred about any possible deal but dont they just need 51% for them to have control over the club?
The problem i reckon with this deal is that Freddy and the rest of the board think the fake sheik from the NOTW is trying to pull another fast one and is understandably a bit paranoid about selling the club to a journalist.
