2k is still easily the best basketball game out there for an NBA sim, so much so that EA and completely given up with NBA Live the last couple of years. The learning curve is pretty steep though. Not one of those games you can easily just pick up and play.
Was going to say the same as Clee, if you can find 2k11 for very cheap then probably a good idea to go with that. There will certainly be roster updates made by users.

Well you'd have to have even a passing interest in hoops to want to get this!
Their presentation certainly is on another level as well as their player signature moves. Would be brilliant to see what they could do with a football game. Not a huge fan of the gameplay though on this year's game, they've done quite a few tweaks that have taken the fun out of it I feel. Will have to persist a little more with it.

I believe you should look for what increases your chemistry most. All things being equal however the better player is simply the one with the higher stat. Don't think IFs have any special or hidden stats about them.

I fear there will always be an excuse not to start him. There's been almost every type of scenario, opposition, absentees for him to get a look in yet he hasn't.
Pardew will probably start Shola and Best.

You can't ban a club's right to protest just because you don't agree with it.
Of course not, no one would suggest otherwise and they should of course be allowed to get to the bottom of things. The way they went about it though is what is being criticised. They're the ones who made a mockery of the whole thing.
If everything that has come from them (t shirts and all) since the 8 game ban was mentioned isn't "bringing the game into disrepute" then I don't know what is.

It's just infuriating. Really hope the FA don't go along with Liverpool's attitude of just wanting to put an end to the issue.

The physics engine is ridiculous - especially where it just gives penalties away for the crack.
It's happened a couple of times now that I've had an achievement pop up in the top corner about a successful tackle with my player as CB only for the ref to then give a pelanty. Rather obscene.
It shouldn't push the sim that far.
