Boro Strike Young Deal

Recommended Posts

Middlesbrough have agreed a fee of £2.5million with Charlton for Luke Young.

The England full-back is keen to secure a return to the Premier League and a host of clubs have been linked, including Aston Villa and Manchester City.

Boro have also been trailing him for several weeks and they have now agreed terms with Charlton.

The 28-year-old is now set to talk terms with the Teessiders with a view to sealing a move to The Riverside.

Boro are desperate to bring in cover at right-back following the summer departures of Abel Xavier and Stuart Parnaby.

Charlton have already signed French Under-21 defender Yassin Moutaouakil and he is seen as a ready-made replacement for the former Tottenham ace.

Not really a bad price considering other prices for players, got to be a better choice than Carr.

A mannequin in a toon shirt would be a better choice than Carr tbh.
