We are now at Conference North standard, and only a few improvements away from conference national standard. The club is going to make a real push this year with improved sponsorship by carlsberg and a new PR officer employed.

Im off to the match today against Berwick Rangers if anyone fancies seiing the new ground. Its got to be the nicest non league ground in the NE!

Went along today, the ground is looking canny- a million miles from the state it was in five years ago. The stand in the third picture is over 70 years old and will have to be pulled down within the next few years (if a strong breeze doesnt do the job first), time will tell if a new stand or just terrace will take its place.

The roof on the Plessey end has made an amazing difference to the feel of the ground.

Might have gone if I'd known about the match in time - the new PR person isn't doing too good a job of publicising the fixtures!
