They CAN'T do the obvious thing....(wingers whipping in crosses for centre forwards/mazey creative midfielders feeding quicker smaller strikers/midfield generals sitting behind said mazey fellow etc etc...) because then everyone would point and say: This is too fucking easy!? What are we paying you so much for?

 

So, the modern manager has to fox us with his "methods"...thus ensuring the mystique remains and they keep getting the big fat wedge!
