A Nigerian businessman says he is leading a bid to buy Newcastle United. "The consortium has raised £350m," said the chief executive of NVA Management Chris Nathaniel. (The Times) Am I the only one that thinks that they do have the money, they just need Mike Ashley's bank details? They probably sent him a very official sounding email requesting his help in moving the money out of Nigeria. I for one have complete confidence in these businessmen.
