He managed to avoid relegation with Wigan last year and has had an unconvincing season so far. If that's the standard we're going for then Phil Brown is a better candidate. As for Zaki, Palacios, and Valencia - why are some people crediting Bruce with finding them and bringing them over? Do they not have scouts at Wigan?
