do you drink and drive

The way I look at it is this:

 

You have a couple of pints - nothing more. You're well in control of yourself.

 

You get in the car and little Sally (8) runs out in front of you, you knock her down and she is killed.

 

Next day, the press will print: 'Joe Soap, who admits to have been drinking prior to the accident, knocked down and killed little Sally (8)....'

 

Anyone who reads that article will then look at you in a completely different light for the rest of your life. You will not just be somebody who unfortunately knocked down and killed little Sally, you will have been the drunk driver who knocked over little Sally.

 

I'm not a saint, but the most I will ever, ever, ever drink before driving is 1 pint of lager shandy, if we have gone out for a meal with the car - and 9 times out of 10 mrs hips will drive instead.

 

Drinking and driving is for losers. FACT!
