Still not sure Oh_Yeah really grasps the point of this thread. Whitby. Sensational effort from a lot of the women there. Even the sun dresses were tremendous6 points

Can’t wait for Clarke to go to Crystal Palace for £10m and instantly become an overrated mercenary5 points

“Patto” Tbf, third choice keeper sympathy cap could be the one he could get5 points

It’s pretty much bullshit that chart mind. ASM ( in two weeks of the season he’s fit),comes on in the last 15 mins, touches the ball three times, crossing it each time… fucking superstar. Foden plays a full 90 for 38 games, getting touches every two minutes … “Less efficient”4 points

It was a bit more than a tap in, it was a good reaction shot. There’s no way he scores that two years ago.3 points

Also if they’re that desperate to get Bairstow in (understandably after last summer) he could open on these pitches. The other thing with Foakes is he’s good enough to stand up to our quicks on this pitch. Not that he’d do it all the time but it would keep the batsmen honest now and again and brings in the possibility of a leg side stumping3 points

Clarke can’t even get selected for the U21 over Gordon who they all think is complete shite. But aye he’s nailed on to be an England regular.2 points

And of course the real kicker is that the cunt they were all working for and who was undoubtedly there has just been made a Lord for life by Johnson.2 points

He was arguably their worst player last season which, given how shite they were, is really saying something.2 points

He’s shite for Chelsea and was shite at Brighton. Probably the most negative player in the premier league, terrified of risking the ball ever. Would be a huge rip off at £30m, one of the worst deals of all time Chelsea paying £60m for him. I think the link’s bollocks anyway tbh.2 points

A premier league piece about us, canny enough etc but why is obligatory to have the usual suspects piping up in it? Taylor Payne, who has now giving up searching for Phillipe Albert it seems, (whom he never saw), plus Wykiki's lass is on telling us about Newcastle, the people and how we want to see hard graft because we are industrial workers or something? What the fuck would these know about industrial work? I'd pay good money to attend a NUFC history class hosted by the usual talking heads, I'd be front row taking it all in......2 points

Any recommendations for a lodge (etc) in Lake District for a family with a 4 and 8 year olds? Also, has to be classy. Like me.1 point

None of those things are bad luck really. A test wicketkeeper should be taking regulation chances and you shouldn’t be overstepping as a bowler either. Although there is more of an argument for the no ball being unlucky1 point

There’s regulation stumpings and then there’s piss easy stumpings, that was more straightforward than either of those FFS1 point

I wonder how many takes it took for her to do her bits. 'that was great Charlotte, but can we try it once again without saying errrrrmmm and like so many times?'1 point

He was always one of the more mediocre commentators around in the 80s, he definitely got the BSkyB job by default as none of the main commentators or presenters fancied it thinking it would be a disaster and nobody was able to watch it.1 point

Do like the continual involvement of women's team players in advertising though. Properly assimilated into the Club.1 point
