I’m giving him way too much credit by actually reading his post, here, but he contradicts himself totally. Lucky Ipswich had a penalty denied. Unlucky Blackburn had two goals correctly disallowed. As TBD says ( Incidentally, also found Mr. RaspberryJamQuiffThompers as TF)9 points

The whole Rwanda thing is the same as Brexit was a few years ago, in the sense that it's an issue that has taken up all the oxygen. It's all anyone talks about, and it's all that fucking idiot PM is focused on. Meanwhile there'll be stuff that is being neglected that he doesn't even know he's neglecting, cos he's somehow become PM within 10 years of becoming an MP, and his time as an MP was spent doing the morning round defending Johnson's latest insanity. I think Starmer is a genuine serious bloke that will do a job far better than anything we've had in the last 14 years, but I worry that Labour are just gonna get blamed for all of this stuff that I'm talking about. That's just stored up waiting for them.7 points

they started a thread about ipswich at the back end of march which has now been revived..... https://www.readytogo.net/smb/threads/ipswich-top-of-the-league.1630614/ sunderland, unsurprisingly, are much better than them and it's all down to luck for the tractor boys, or so says the thickest cunt ever to open an Internet page, I give you the one and only, terminally stupid keith s30s, the very same bloke who proclaimed all the teams in CL group of death were shite.....6 points

Just came across this, we know some of his failings but you'd have him over the likes of JRM, Johnson, Truss etc talking to foreign power any day and every day. How enough influential people with knowledge couldn't batter down the MSM and the RW rags around 2016 with a bit of bluntness and facts is our big loss. UK was massively let down and there's people in govt who knew it would be a shit sarnie who should be in front of a judge. The least said about the likes of Farage the better. They should be in the fucking tower.6 points

Aye, them and their zero seats in the next parliament could be a real force to be reckoned with.5 points

As I've said before with that Keith lunatic, it's Pop Robson I feel sorry for, unknowingly being used as an avatar for a village idiot.5 points

They need to get VAR in the Championship so that shots that come off the very end of your toes which fool the keeper can be looked at. Fucking out of order that. "Checking for possible end of toes shot" Vardy's missed hat tricks should carry greater weight than an end of toes shot. It's pretty basic stuff and the table would look very different if the EFL would wake up and listen to Keith.5 points

I'd have Blair back as PM in a heartbeat. The government that we currently have are such fundamentally unserious people. If you look at the degradation in public services and towns, and the roads, etc. That's all surface stuff that we can see that this lot have neglected over the past 14 years, and we see it cos it's in our faces affecting 9ur lives every day. But think of all the unseen stuff. National security, for example. The same neglect will have been brought to bear there, but it's just not visible to us. This will be repeated everywhere in the "what makes up a country, and what a government should be doing". We've got idiots in charge, and there'll be neglect and degradation across the board that we can't even see, but that will have consequences one day. But you know, get your fucking tweet out about the flag on the back of the England shirt, cos that's what being a member of govt is about to this lot. Blair is so far ahead of this lot, they're not even the same species.5 points

Paqueta has an ongoing investigation that put City off before, and possibly still will. City do like defending an investigation though.5 points

Yeah, like Gloomy says, to sell to a domestic opponent we'd need enough money to replace him (either directly or in the aggregate), enough money to ensure we don't look like soft touches and enough money to placate the fans. Bruno isn't just our best player, he's a symbol of the new Newcastle, he's adored by the fans, and by extension the owners and execs get credit for him. Sell him to a PL club and all that disappears.4 points

it hasn't really hindered man city though, has it? you were able to spend your oil millions before the proper punishments came in snd are now closing in on a fourth successive title. we have the richest owners in the world but they are being denied the chance to grow their club the same way that man city and chelsea owners were able to because of the bullshit psr rules.3 points

I’m not sure he’ll be a long term replacement. He’ll add some competition to places. Botman and Lascelles aren’t going to be back until ~Jan so we are threadbare at the minute. Kelly would be handy to add for the same reason to LCB/LB. Both are free which would open up cash to be spent on Mbappe.3 points

aye. mind you, you can't help but feel sorry for the football supporting folk of suffolk too. despite being on the cusp of automatic promotion they have to live with the fact that they're actually not as good as sunderland. they must be gutted.3 points

Some tory lists off a bunch of stuff they haven't done and ends with... "Does my right honourable friend agree with me that if he carries on like this he's gonna win the next general election?" Even the Tories are laughing.3 points

The Home Office has just released videos of the first migrants being detained to be deported to Rwanda. Just think for a second who they're trying to appeal to with this, to win last minute votes. Horrible.3 points

it's anticompetitive, protectionist bullshit. the whole thing stinks and you're right it wouldn't be tolerated elsewhere.3 points

he could play both roles with aplomb, particularly in your midfield alongside world class players. he played "number 8" in his first half season after signing in the january window and scored a bunch of goals. they have dried up since then as he's played the deeper role since. but the numbers don't tell the whole story. everything goes through him. he is head and shoulders our best player, picking up the ball from the centre backs, always looking to receive it and dictating play from deep. he'd be a massive loss for us. we should be able to build our team around him and we have the money to do so. it's only the bullshit psr nonsense stopping us, which which is why we would be crying out for an astronomical transfer fee.3 points

Once you've done it once or twice, you'll get used to it, and you'll find it's most of what you post on here.3 points

You don’t need to have been an ex-footballer though to see that the challenge above was a penalty. The problem is that there appears to be a very small pool of referees to chose from and why would anyone actually want to be a referee? Most of the time you’re working for no or little money and even if you make it to the professional ranks the money isn’t life changing. The main motivation to me seems to be the same as becoming a bouncer, just having a little bit of control over other people makes them feel like they are someone.3 points

Good player and would play well for Eddie, but the money rules him out. He's not going to take a 50% pay cut.3 points
