Sorry, don't normally like to ask for money on here but if anyone would like to donate to this I'd be grateful as it's a cause close to my heart. Thanks in advance, folks.5 points

It absolutely is. It’s not scaremongering at all. It’s practically one in one out. You’re at the point too where the court backlog has meant people being tried for very serious offences have had 5 year delays. Then been found guilty but there is no space for them in prisons. It even impacts the ability of police to arrest people because they’ve got convicted criminals being temporarily held in their cells. The prison governors association (as I think they’re called) recently wrote to the MoJ perm sec (because there were in effect no ministers in the pre election period). This was to warn them the prisons are days away from breaking point. This is, of course, on top of underfunding across the whole sector, whether that be police, public prosecutors, court clerks, prison officers or whatever. With declining salaries in real terms and massive staff retention issues. Plus their actual day to day jobs. It’s a microcosm of the Tory mishandling of the business of government but also probably the most pressing matter. But you know, stop the boats. Which was actually one of their 5 priorities (and they couldn’t even make any progress on that).4 points

It must be hard being on the losing side if that, but Switzerland can take positives from it- they looked very energetic and organised, not forgetting their flag which is a big plus.3 points

WOW! Just watched Kiers first presser and we have our own Jed Bartlett. What a Prime Minister this bloke is going to be. Absolutely dripping with honesty, home truths and a very genuine drive to sort the UK out. Not seen anyone this good in politics before except for TV drama. So impressed3 points

Imagine being either Reform or Green/Libdem. "I just cannot make my mind up between Nigel Farage and Ed Davey. Nigel this time!"3 points

If the greens got the same media exposure that the Russian stooge did for as long as the useful stooge got they might be a lot closer to the lib dems than reform or ukip is/was.3 points

That absolute clown selecting an injured LB who hasn't played in 4 months, and has a history of breaking down when returning from injury, for a one month long competition. And then deciding that he was the only player required in that position. So now the only player from our faltering attack that you could say was functioning remotely well, is moved to the wrong side and the wrong end of the pitch. Arsehole.3 points

Saka has been consistently our best performer during this entire shitshow of a tournament, so well done. Schar and Widmer both on yellows now, vulnerable to attacks down the left, perfect moment for a pacy winger with a point to prove to come on, so we'll see Gallagher get subbed on for Rice in the 117th minute.2 points

Southampton were meant to be sniffing around but weren’t willing to meet Sunderland’s valuation. Which is reportedly £18m. Transfermarkt has him at €15m. So, aye, the £40m bids should be incoming 👍🏻2 points

You knew it was gonna happen. A few more transfers and they'll reckon he's worth £100 million.2 points

If he goes 3 at the back then he as no option other to play Saka there. TAA should be the other wing back. I’d let Rice sit then Bellingham and Foden as 8s. You could then argue whether to play someone off or alongside Kane as well. Not ideal. Again, this is all down to him not selecting a fit LB in the squad.2 points

It 4 seasons not 5, though I've never said that he doesn't play both, in fact LTA is insistent he can't be a right winger. Despite this he has been generally most productive as a right winger (or off a striker) in those seasons where game time was equal. Also LTA is a man pretending to be a woman, but thats not the point. Its not an unfair point that LTA is making tbh, but this should be reminder to never talk to me.2 points

The strong rumour was Sunak called the election to stymie a leadership challenge. I’d also add that if you go along with those policies of the last government just to save your own political career then there’s zero decency in that. It’s arguably worse than the nutters themselves. You’re enabling them for selfish reasons. They’re not even loyal to the party as it’s wrecked that too2 points

"Your majesty, I'm here to resign as prime minister." "Why's that, old chap?" "Errr.... there's been a general election. My party got hammered." "Funny....... Because that's not what I'm hearing on the doorstep.......Lolz!"2 points
