Because we could bring on Harper as a winger to replace Obertan and he would be more effective...

How can we be losing playing like this? Oh yes, i remember, we have Obertan in our team. Why the hell does Pardew persist with him? Marveaux will be way more effective. Much more positive team performance though. Passing and closing down is more encouraging then previous games. I can see us scoring if we come out in the same form.

Because as opposed to keeping possession and trying to play our way through, he just wants us to fire crosses into the box at every opportunity. With Hangeeland in there he'll win everything. You saw how when te commentator got his wish and a ball was fired in, they were all offside.
I still agree with the commentator. If there is an opportunity to get that ball in the box, then do it. We won't get anywhere if we don't. Imagine if Pardew told them "Don't bother whipping a ball in lads as Hangeeland will win it every time"

I really couldn't give a toss about Barton leaving to be honest. I don't think he has put a decent shift in for us for a while now. He had a pretty crap last 3rd of the season and his two games so far this season, his delivery and passing was poor. Yes, he is a passionate guy, but that over passion is what gets him into trouble and I get fed up of reading and hearing negative things about him due to his behaviour. We have enough of that with our fucking owner. I am pretty sure Marveaux or Gosling can step up to the mark. I really don't think we will be any worse off. I can see Marveaux thriving and coming good.

Just reported on SSN, QPR want to swoop in as contract talks have broken down between us. My prediction is he goes last day of the transfer window and we don't replace him. I have no idea what makes me think that....

Will take this score at the end of the game. We haven't been too bad. Ameobi/Jonas have been useless, a lot of our players have been largely non-existent, although we can take positives from Simpson looking better than last season and Ba showing some good touches.
Obertan to come on for Ameobi or Jonas at half time.
