I'm bothered about whats happening in 3rd place, couldnt care less whether we win the CCC this season or not as long as we go up
Well, I care! We should win this shite arse league! OK, 2nd will be nice, but after leading for so long, it would hurt. Why settle for 2nd best?
why care about being the best of the second set?
the reward of getting 1st or 2nd this season is the same regardless
only difference is we wouldn't get a nothing trophy and about 100k less (or something) in prize money
Exactly what is wrong with this country. We are all keen on 2nd best and not coming 1st. I may be in the minority here but winning this league is the most important thing for my love of Newcastle. Just my opinion!

To be honest, their goal was a tad fortunate with that awful deflection onto the scorer but we still didn't set the world alight. Who cares, its 3 points in the bag and another game closer to the end of the season.

Weve scored 52 (33@ Home) and WBA 62 (31@ Home)
Weve conceded 22 (7@ Home) and WBA 32 (15@ Home)
Put simply we are better at home and WBA are better away...this...could be our undoing unless we can find some form on our travels.
Does it come down to away goal difference then if we end up on same points and overall goal difference at the end of the season? I've never really known the answer to this (or even asked!)

I would have said James Milner but then again, he has the NUFC connection. So I will just take the easy road out and say Beckham
