Was that not a foul by their right back about 10 seconds earlier? Straight through the back of our player - regardless of whether you get the ball or not, that's a foul.

Garth Crooks:
"It couldn't have gone over the line, otherwise the referee would have got a bleep in his ear. But I'm against technology - the decision should be the referee's and his decision should be final. Forget what you think to see, we've gone with the technology all you technophiles wanted and we've got to abide by it."
Here's an example of where the technology has been spot on and made the correct decision, taking something that the naked eye could only guess at. And Garth Crooks tries to argue against it.

Wasn't over the line anyway, so we're still owed one for the Mark Viduka goal.

I've seen us play far worse. Sissoko has knocked in a couple of very decent balls.
De Jong's finishing leaves a lot to be desired, but he's getting in and amongst them.

Don't think this has been mentioned RE Souness:
Not that I'm condoning Pardew's actions in the slightest. But Souness should keep his mouth firmly shut.

Isn't it reassuring to know that 'Half of alan pardew wants to compete for a trophy'
Lord knows what the other half could be thinking.

The oil and gas lot up at Aberdeen would continue to use GBP and USD, without a doubt.
A new currency would have to be permanently linked to Sterling otherwise it would be horrendously unstable.

It's in the best interests of the UK to keep Scotland. And the Euro isn't an option, it's not a matter of you choosing to join it, they won't have you in it.
And a Scottish currency wouldn't work as Scotland as an independent nation would be too small and too new to be trusted by the money markets.
Yep, pretty much.
I know of a few businesses who have closed up and moved south of the border, as they fear the change.

Self catering apartments mate.
Cheaper than Travelodge and Premier, I got a place in Salford Quays, 2 double rooms , 2 bathrooms and a massive kitchen/lounge with a huge balcony for £75 a night.

I'm guessing he came some distance.
He must have abstained for weeks to build that sort of pressure up.

I'd like to see us score a goal like, that would be nice.

We take some right kickings off top 4/top 4 chasing sides like.
The top 4 sides seem to dish them out to each other too, at times.

"You still can't stop it" says the commentator.
You certainly can't if you don't have a player within 10 yards of the ball...

williamson jogging in behind paulhiuno for the followup there
Goalside is defending 101 like
I agree, but Krul should have held that every time, even in these conditions.
-
How is that even possible?!
Takes a horrible bounce off a divot about a foot in front of him, moving it in a completely different direction.
-
I've seen far, far worse.
Spurs are set up with a very high defensive line so we're best off playing this way, trying to catch them on the counter attack.
Krul's mistake apart, we've arguably had the best chances of the game.
The conditions are horrendous for football as well, so it's no surprise that players on both sides are misplacing passes and misjudging the flight of the ball.

Garth Crooks still wittering on:
"Why don't we close our eyes and just accept the decision the technology makes? There's no point debating it, it's killed off debate. Make no mistake, with our bare eyes we would all have given that as a goal."
He's getting angry because the goal line technology made the right decision. How does this fuckwit continue being employed?
